The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) of each state will release the NMMS Scholarship 2026-27 application form. Interested students can apply online from the respective official websites. The selection process for the NMMS Scholarship includes a written test.

Some states will also allow the students to apply through their schools. Students currently studying in Class 8 in government, government-aided, or state board schools are eligible to apply online. The eligible students can complete the application process before the deadline provided by their respective SCERTs. The state-wise NMMS application forms will be made available here for the students. They will have to pay the required application fee and upload relevant documents to complete the application process. For some states like Goa, Arunachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Nagaland, and Uttarakhand, the application form will be available offline.

Students can follow the steps mentioned below to apply online for the NMMS Scholarship 2026-27. For the offline application, students need to collect their application forms from their respective schools.
Visit the official website of SCERTs of the respective state.
Click on the ‘NMMS’ section.
Select the application form link.
Generate the login credentials using basic details like name, email ID, phone number, etc.
Next, log in with the generated details and fill out the application form.
Enter your name, class, school name, and upload documents like Aadhar card, school ID card, parents' annual income, etc.
Pay the application fees and submit the application form.
Save and download the confirmation slip for future reference.
