The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER) will conduct the Class 9 half-yearly exams in November 2026. The Board prescribes the half-yearly exam syllabus which students need to study to appear for the exams. Most of the schools complete the 100% syllabus by the time of the half-yearly exams. Hence, students will likely be required to study the complete syllabus.
In this article, we have provided the RBSE Class 9 syllabus for half-yearly exams for all subjects. Based on this prescribed portion from the full syllabus, schools set the RBSE Class 9 half-yearly question papers. Students are advised to also consult their respective schools to get confirmation on the topics that will be included in the half-yearly exam syllabus.
The following tables provide the subject-wise RBSE Class 9 half-yearly syllabus 2026-27 for all major subjects. Students preparing for the Rajasthan Board Class 9 half-yearly exams should go through the complete syllabus to understand the chapters and topics prescribed for the exams. Completing the RBSE Class 9 half-yearly syllabus well in advance will help students revise thoroughly, practise important questions, and perform confidently in the exams.

7. Motion | Types of motion, speed, velocity, and graphical representation. |
8. Force and Laws of Motion | Newton’s laws, inertia, and mathematical formulation. |
9. Gravitation | Law of gravitation, free fall, thrust and pressure, buoyancy. |
10. Work and Energy | Concept of work, kinetic and potential energy, conservation of energy. |
11. Sound | Production, propagation, reflection, and characteristics of sound waves. |
12. Improvement in Food Resources | Crop production, irrigation, animal husbandry, fisheries, and beekeeping. |
