Bihar NMMS Eligibility Criteria 2025-26

All applicants for this scholarship must meet certain NMMS eligibility criteria, which are outlined below:

• Class- Applicants must be enrolled in Class 8th during the academic year 2025-26.

• Marks- These students must have achieved a minimum of 55% or equivalent grade in their Class VII exams. SC/ST students are eligible with a score of 50%.

• Family Income: The combined annual income of both parents should not exceed Rs 3.5 lakh.

• Not Eligible Schools: Students in NVS, KVS, Sainik schools, and private schools are not eligible to apply for this NMMS scholarship.

NMMS Bihar Application Form 2025-26

• The SCERT Bihar released the NMMS Bihar application form on January 26, 2026. Students could apply for the NMMS Bihar until February 20, 2026.

• To be eligible for the NMMS Bihar Scholarship, candidates must fulfil all eligibility requirements and submit their NMMS applications through the official website, scert.bihar.gov.in.

• Interested individuals are requested to follow the necessary steps outlined below for a successful application process.

Steps to Fill NMMS Bihar 2025-26 Registration Form

• Visit the NMMS Bihar official website, scert.bihar.gov.in.

• Once on the homepage, the candidate will have the option to select ”NMMSS Online Application Academic Year 2025-26”. Click on it.

• On the next page, candidates will have the option to register and log in. Click on it to register.

• Fill in all the registration details carefully and click on the submit button.

• Next, the candidate will receive the ID and password after successful registration

• Using these IDs and passwords, log in to the portal to complete the application process.

• After filling out the application form carefully, the candidate will have to scan and upload all the required documents

• Finally, the candidate will get the receipt for the online application. Download the application receipt and keep it for future reference.

Documents to be Submitted with the Online Application Form

All students are required to submit the following documents for the NMMS scholarship. The steps to be followed are outlined below:

• Student's Aadhaar Card

• School ID card

• Class 7th passing certificate

• Caste certificate

• Income certificate,

• Disability certificate (if any),

• EWS certificate for the economically weaker section

• Bank account passbook

• Passport-size photo

NMMS Bihar Admit Card 2025-26

• The State Council of Educational Research & Training, Patna, is responsible for releasing the NMMS Bihar admit cards. The download window was available from March 8 to 11, 2026.

• Students were able to download their NMMS Bihar exam admit card online from the official website, scert.bihar.gov.in.

• They need to use their login credentials to access the NMMS 2025-26 admit card.

• Students must carry the NMMS Bihar admit card 2025-26 to the examination centre, as they will not be allowed to enter the examination hall without it.

NMMS Bihar Exam Pattern 2025-26

The NMMS exam pattern consists of two papers, the Mental Ability Test (MAT) and the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). Students must obtain a minimum of 40% overall marks in both the MAT and SAT exams to successfully pass. This standard applies to all students, with a reduced requirement of 32% for those from SC/ST communities. Students should cover the entire NMMS syllabus at least 2 to 3 months before the exam to prepare effectively.

NMMS Bihar Exam Structure

NMMS Bihar Answer Key 2025-26

The provisional answer key for NMMS Bihar was released on March 11, 2026. Students can access the NMMS answer key online through the official SCERT website. The board opened the objection window for the students to raise objections against the answer key from March 11 to 13, 2026. The NMMS answer key serves as a crucial resource for students to evaluate their performance and estimate their potential scores before the official results are announced.

NMMS Bihar 2025-26 Result

The SCERT releases the NMMS Bihar results 2025-26 in online mode. It is expected that the NMMS Bihar result will be announced in June 2026. Students will be able to access the NMMS results for Bihar through the official website, scert.bihar.gov.in. They are required to provide their seat number and their mother's name to view the NMMS result 2025-26.
