NSP Login Portal - Latest Updates

  • Introduction of OTR: The One Time Registration (OTR) feature has been introduced to simplify the NSP application process. Once registered, students will receive a unique OTR number, which they can use for all subsequent scholarship applications throughout their academic journey. It is important to note that the OTR is required on the NSP (National Scholarship Portal) for submitting both new and renewal applications. The OTR module will be available to students year-round. The OTR is a unique 14-digit number issued based on Aadhaar or Aadhaar Enrolment ID (EID). It is mandatory to apply for scholarships on the NSP. After completing the OTR process, students will receive an OTR ID, which will remain valid for their entire academic life. When an application is submitted, the system will generate an Application ID linked to the OTR ID, ensuring that only one Application ID is active against an OTR ID at any given time.
  • Aadhaar Linking: The Aadhaar verification process has been updated with enhanced security measures. It is important to note that linking the Aadhaar with your mobile number is different from seeding it with your bank account, which is essential for students to access the benefits of the NSP Scholarship 2024. The Aadhaar linking process is straightforward and can be completed online.
