NMMS Assam Result 2025-26 Out - Direct Link, Merit List
The Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam, released the NMMS Assam result 2025-26 on March 17, 2026. The NMMS exam result for Assam is available via the Bidyarthi app. The NMMS Assam exam for the 2025-26 academic year was held on December 13, 2025. The Assam NMMS merit list 2025-26 PDF has also been uploaded on the official website. A total of 2,409 students have been selected this year. Out of this, 1,369 females and 1040 male students are selected.

Click on the ‘NMMSS Scholarship’ option on the homepage.
Now, click on the option of ‘NMMS Exam Result 2025-26 Assam’
The PDF of the Assam NMMS merit list containing the names and other details of selected candidates will be displayed on the screen.
Use ‘Ctrl+F’ to find if your name is present in the list or you can look for your name manually. Download the PDF for future reference on your device.

Steps to Download Assam NMMS Merit List via the Bidyarthi App
The Assam board also uploaded the PDF file of the Assam NMMS exam result 2025-26 on their official website. The Assam board requests the students to download the ‘Bidyarthi’ mobile application, as sometimes they are unable to publish the result PDF through the official website due to the large file size. Check the steps mentioned below to know the process of accessing the NMMS result Assam through the Bidyarthi mobile app:
Go to the ‘Google Play Store’ on the mobile phone and download the ‘Bidyarthi’ app.
Open the Bidyarthi app and click on Menu >Scheme >National Means cum Merit Scholarship >Result > PDF.
Note - The result option is also highlighted at the top of the app menu. Click on the news highlight and wait a few seconds/minutes to download the result.
NMMS Assam Result 2025-26 - Method of Selection
For selecting the students, the following criteria will be applicable:
Students must pass both the tests, i.e., MAT and SAT, with at least 40 % marks in aggregate (SC/ST students, 32% marks). The student must have scored at least 55% mark or an equivalent grade in the Class 8 examination (50 % for SC/ST students).
