The CBSE Class 7 science syllabus for the academic year 2025-26 has been revised to match the national educational policy (NEP 2020). The syllabus focuses more on real-life connections by reference, practical hands-on experiences, and understanding concepts rather than learning facts. In fact, the book title "Curiosity" for Grade 7 offers students the best possible opportunity with interesting topics in physics, chemistry, biology, and the environment, to learn science in a fun and easy way.
The NCERT syllabus for class 7 has also been updated to encourage activity-based learning through various worksheets, experiments, observations, and group work to enhance the skills in critical thinking and problem-solving. The CBSE has also introduced a bridge course that will help in transitioning students from the old traditional textbook wisdom to the new concept-oriented curriculum.
