List of Olympiads Available for Class 12

Various foundations, such as Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) and Silverzone Olympiad Foundation, conduct olympiad exams for class 8. Below, we have listed the names of some olympiad exams that are conducted in India for class 8 students.

Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM)

The Mathematics Teachers’ Association of India is responsible for conducting IOQM. Students can apply for this Olympiad online through the board’s official website, www.mtai.org.in/. Students who clear the IOQM can start preparing for the RMO and INMO exams.

Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF)

The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) conducts various olympiads for classes 1 to 12. The foundation has already started the registration process. Students can register themselves online through sofworld.org. Below, we have provided the list of Olympiads where class 12th students can participate. The foundation has also released the exam dates for SOF 2026. Students can click on the provided link to learn in detail about the respective olympiads.

• SOF International English Olympiad (IEO): Evaluates English language proficiency.

• SOF National Science Olympiad (NSO): Focuses on foundational concepts in physics, chemistry, and biology.

• SOF International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO): Tests mathematical concepts and problem-solving abilities.

• SOF International Commerce Olympiad (ICO): Assess their knowledge and skills in Commerce.

Silverzone Olympiad Foundation

Silverzone has started the registration process for Silverzone Olympiads. Students can apply online through the official website, www.silverzone.org. The last date to apply for Silverzone Olympiads is August 30, 2025. Students can visit the website and check out the exam dates for respective olympiad exams.

• Silverzone International Informatics Olympiad (iiO): This Olympiad tests aptitude in the field of computer science

• Silverzone International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO): This Olympiad tests mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills.

• Silverzone International Olympiad of Science (IOS): This Olympiad assesses scientific knowledge and application skills.

• Silverzone International Olympiad of English Language (iOEL): This Olympiad evaluates English language proficiency.

Homi Bhabha Centre For Science Education

The Mathematics Teachers' Association (MTA), the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT), and the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) conduct the Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM) jointly. This maths olympiad is for students studying in classes 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12. It is the first stage, conducted by the organisation. Students can register for IOQM online through ioqmexam.in. The individual IOQM student registration 2025-26 has already started from June 30 to July 25, 2025. Any student who qualifies in the IOQM will be able to move forward to the next level, i.e., Pre-Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO), Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO), International Mathematical Olympiad Training Camp 2025-26 (IMOTC), Pre-Departure Camp and International Mathematical Olympiad.

Humming Bird Mathematics Olympiad (HMO)

The HMO is an international-level competition for Mathematics. Students from classes 1 to 12 can participate in HMO. This olympiad exam is conducted online. It assesses mathematical, reasoning, and analytical skills and is based on the syllabus of CBSE, ICSE, State, and International boards.
