IOQM Result 2026 - Check Provisional Scores at ioqexam.in
The Mathematics Teachers' Association, India (MTAI) will announce the IOQM result 2026-27 for stage 1 on September 15, 2026. The IOQM results will be published on the official website at ioqexam.in. Students will be able to check their IOQM result 2026 by logging in using their registration number and date of birth. IOQM 2026 provisional scores will be available in the student login. The score challenge will also be accepted in September 2026. Later, IOQM will release the national and regional certificates on the official website, https://extstudent.ioqmexam.in/login. Students will be able to download national and regional certificates in January 2027.

IOQM stands for Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics. It is a national-level mathematics competition organised by the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) to identify talented students in mathematics. Students who will successfully clear stage 1 of the IOQM exam 2026-27 are eligible to register for the stage 2 RMO exam 2026-27. Last year, the results for IOQM were declared on October 15, 2025. Along with the announcement of the IOQM stage 1 results, the registration link for stage 2 (RMO) will be made available.

How to Check the IOQM Result 2026-27?
Once released, students can follow the steps mentioned below to check their IOQM result 2026.
- Step 1: Visit the official website at ioqmexam.in.
- Step 2: Locate the link titled “IOQM 2026” and select the relevant link related to the students’ region and class.
- Step 3: Enter the login credentials mentioned in the IOQM admit card in the Student Login section and submit.
- Step 4: The IOQM result 2026-27 will appear on the screen.
- Step 5: Download and print the result for future reference.

Selection Criteria of IOQM 2026 Result
More than 10,000 students from various regions and schools will be selected based on the IOQM results 2026-27 to proceed to the next stage of the examination. The selection criteria are outlined below:
- Any student who scores at least 10% of the total marks in the IOQM 2026-27 paper will receive a certificate.
- To qualify for RMO 2026, a student must score at least 10% of the total marks in the IOQM 2026-27 paper, although this is not the sole qualifying factor.
- Students in classes 8, 9, 10, or 11 who score at least 10% in the IOQM 2026 paper will be categorised as Category A students.
- Students in class 12 who score at least 10% in the IOQM 2026-27 paper will be categorised as Category B students.
- The top 200 students from Category A, including ties for the 200th position, will qualify for RMO 2026-27.
- The top 40 students from Category B, including ties for the 40th position, will qualify for RMO 2026-27.
- Additionally, 5 more female students from Category A will qualify for RMO 2026-27, irrespective of the number of female students already qualifying in the top 200 from Category A, under the Girls' quota.
- There is no separate Girls' quota for Category B. A female student from Category B can qualify for RMO 2026 only if she is among the top 40 students in Category B.
IOQM Result Cutoff 2026 Region-wise
The IOQM cutoff marks 2026-27 will be announced separately for every state/JNVs/KVs. Students can find their roll number in the merit list if they achieve the Pre-RMO cutoff score. The students who have qualified in the IOQM 2026 will be eligible for RMO selection.
