IOQM 2026 CutOff - Expected Cut‑Off, Check Region-wise Analysis
The Mathematics Teachers’ Association, India (MTAI) will release the IOQM cutoff list in October 2026. The MTAI is likely to declare the IOQM 2026 result in October 2026. Candidates will be able to visit the official website of MTAI at ioqm.mtai.org.in to check the IOQM cutoff along with the IOQM result 2026-27.

The MTAI authorities prepare the list of students who get shortlisted based on the IOQM region-wise cut-off for classes 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12. The association publishes the IOQM cut-off region-wise. IOQM Cut-Off & Normalisation Scores 2026-27
Candidates who have appeared for the Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM) will be able to check the IOQM 2026 cut-off marks to determine their eligibility for the next stage of the exam. The association is expected to release the cut-off in October 2026, in online mode. Students who have qualified in the IOQM 2026 will be eligible to register for the RMO exam.

Important Note
Factors Determining the IOQM Cut-Off Marks 2026-27
Students should be aware of the predetermined factors for the IOQM cutoff marks. Some of the common factors determining the IOQM cut-off are given below.
- Total number of seats available for admission.
- Number of students appearing in the IOQM examination 2026-27.
- The reservation system at the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education.
- The lowest and the highest marks scored by the students in the exam.
- Previous year cut-off marks.

Details About the IOQM Cut-Off for Certificates 2026-27
IOQM Cutoff Criteria
The cutoffs for certificates are based on the criteria announced on the official MTA website.
Candidates from 'Probationary centres' will be excluded from the participant list as per the announcement.
A candidate may receive a national certificate, a regional certificate, both, or neither.
Participation Certificates
No certificates are awarded for mere participation in RMO.
Some eligible RMO participants are not qualified for either a national or regional certificate.
Certificate Download
Certificates can be downloaded from the official IOQM website: ioqm.mtai.org.in.
Candidates from probationary centres must submit a self-declaration confirming no malpractice to access their certificates. Details about this process will be available on the official website.
Region Codes:
The first two digits can identify region codes after the letters in the roll number.
Exceptions (e.g., roll numbers like OS32) exist; therefore, candidates should check the official website to confirm their eligibility once certificates are available.
