RMO Result 2020 - HBCSE will release RMO 2020 result in the third week of November 2020. The result of RMO will be released through the login window where students can access their scores. They will have to enter roll number and date of birth to access the same. If any student has any doubt with RMO result 2020 can apply for re-evaluation before the last date. The final regional Maths olympiad result will be published in the last week of November 2020. RMO result for KV and JNV students is provided through respective KVs and JNVs. Qualified students of RMO exam held in the third week of October 2020 will be called for INMO which is the third stage of HBCSE Maths olympiad 2020. Students who appear for RMO exam can access their provisional and final scores using the steps given below:

On the homepage, enter roll number and date of birth.
Then verify the captcha and click on login button.
RMO result 2020 will open on the screen.

The result for the students of KV and JNV is not released in online mode.
They can access RMO 2020 result from respective Kendriya Vidyalayas and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas.
Students who wish to apply for re-evaluation of their RMO result can contact their regional coordinator before the last date.

The following details will be shared through the RMO 2020 result:
Date of birth
As per region-wise quota, 30 students of class 8th to 11th, 5 girl students and 6 students from 12th class are selected for INMO.
More students may be selected from some regions in case of any tie-up between students by securing the same marks.
The number of students selected may be less than the available quota in some regions due to few students appeared for RMO exam.
RMO cutoff is not revealed but students can check the following table to know the previous year’s number of students selected in RMO.

The next stage is Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO) which is held next year on the third Sunday of January. RMO qualifiers can appear for INMO exam. Around 1200 students are selected in RMO result. Last year, 1177 students were selected for the INMO exam.
They can check RMO 2020 result at their respective Navodaya Vidyalaya.
RMO cut off is the minimum marks that are essential to score to get selected for the INMO exam.
There is no provision to apply for re-evaluation for final RMO result 2020.

Ahmed, KV refers to Kendriya Vidyalaya and JNV refers to Jawahar Navoday Vidyalaya. KV and JNV students have a lesser application fees as compared to non KV or non JNV students for PRMO.
Also their state/ zone is not considered while declaring the results. Instead, the top 5% of KV/ JNV students from classes 8 to 11 and top 1% of students from class 12 are selected for RMO.
That is why in the school type column in the PRMO application form, the options are KV, JNV or others. Hope it helps.
