RMO 2026 Result - Check Region Wise Cut Off @hbcse.tifr.res.in
The Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) will release the provisional RMO result 2026-27 in December 2026. This year, the RMO exam 2026-27 will be conducted on November 15, 2026. The RMO result link will be made available on the official website at secure.hbcse.tifr.res.in/rmo. Candidates who appear in the RMO exam 2026-27 can download results using their roll number, DOB, and email ID. The final RMO result 2026-27 is expected to be announced by the end of December 2026.

Along with the RMO final result, the region-wise cut-off marks will also be released. Students should also note that the RMO results for KV and JNV schools will not be available on these sites. They will have to contact the respective KV and NVS schools for the same. Students who qualify in the second stage RMO exam will be invited to participate in the INMO 2026, which is the third stage of the HBCSE Math Olympiad. How to Access the Regional Mathematical Olympiad Exam Result 2026-27?
Students have to log in with their credentials on the RMO result website to access their RMO result 2026-27. Follow the steps mentioned below to check the results.
- Open the official website at secure.hbcse.tifr.res.in/rmo.
- The RMO result website’s main page will be displayed on the screen. Enter the candidate’s roll number, DOB and email address (used for IOQM registration)
- Do captcha verification.
- Click on the ‘Login’ button to check your final scores of RMO 2026-27.

RMO Result 2026-27 for KV and JNV Students
- The RMO 2026-27 result for KV (Kendriya Vidyalaya) and JNV (Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya) students will not be announced via the above-mentioned website.
- Students will have to contact their respective school authorities to access their RMO results, which will be available in offline mode for KVS and NVS school students.

Number of Students Selected in RMO Result
- As per the region-wise quota, 30 students of classes 8th to 11th, 5 girl students and 6 students from the 12th class are selected for INMO.
- More students may be selected from some regions in case of any tie-up between students by securing the same marks.
- The number of students selected may be less than the available quota in some regions due to a few students appearing for the RMO exam.
- RMO cutoff is not revealed, but students can check the following table to know the previous year’s number of students selected in RMO.

What after RMO Result 2026-27?
Students who qualify for RMO 2026-27 can download the certificate. The link to download the certificates will be published on the HBCSE website: olympiads.hbcse.tifr.res.in/
The next stage is the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO), which will be held on January 17, 2027. RMO qualifiers can appear for the INMO exam.
