Rashtriya Military School -Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates are advised to go through the following advice before appearing for the Rashtriya Military School admission test

  • Candidates must bring admit card, an identity proof like Aadhaar on the day of examination.

  • The classroom and seat number will be provided at the exam centre.

  • RMS CET Admit card and photo identity proof have to be shown to the invigilator

  • Candidate must come to the exam centre at least half an hour before the commencement of examination to complete frisking and registration formalities.

  • No candidate will be permitted to enter the exam centre half an hour after the commencement of exam.

  • Candidates are not allowed to carry any baggage or notebooks inside the exam hall with them.

  • Candidates have to fill the OMR sheet with HB pencil only. For rough work, students can use a pen or pencil.

  • Space for rough work will be provided in the question paper, candidates must not bring any other notebook/page for rough work.

  • Any electronic items like mobile phones or calculators is strictly prohibited.

  • If a candidate is found in possession of any restricted item during the exam or is found indulging in any unfair means, his candidature will stand cancelled.

  • All calculations/rough work is to be done in the paper provided at the exam centre

Rashtriya Military School Admission 2020 Details

There are total five Rashtriya Military School in India, two in Rajasthan at Ajmer and Dholpur, two in Karnataka at Bengaluru and Belgaum and one at Chail in Himachal Pradesh. Admission in all the Rashtriya Military School is given through admission test which consists of a written test, an interview and a medical test. Students who wish to take admission in any of the five Rashtriya Military School have to qualify the admission test jointly conducted by all the five Rashtriya Military Schools. Students who qualify the common entrance test have to appear for an interview at the respective Rashtriya Military school. After the interview, merit is prepared on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the written test and interview. Candidates whose name appears in merit will be called for medical test and have to pass the medical test before being offered a seat at any one of the five Rashtriya Military Schools.

Rashtriya Military School Admission 2020 Exam Syllabus for Class VI

The syllabus for Rashtriya Military School class 6 admission test will include topics from class V. Candidates need to study textbooks from class V of subjects primarily from General Intelligence, General Knowledge, English and Mathematics. Sainik School Society is an autonomous authority which conducts admission in all 31 Sainik Schools across the country and Students are admitted in class 6 and 9 on the basis of All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) which is held in two stages.

The authority has released the registration form on August 5, 2019. Students can fill the admission form until October 10, 2019.
