Rashtriya Military School Admit Card 2018 - Rashtriya Military Schools have released the result for CET 2018 along with the call letters for Interview. Students can check and download the call letters from the link given below. Candidates have to enter the roll number, class and date of birth to download the admit card for the interview. Earlier RMS had released the admit card for CET 2018 for admission to Rashtriya Military School classes VI and IX on December 17, 2018. Candidates should check whether all the details mentioned in the admit card are correct and should inform the respective Military School about any discrepancy is found. Candidates have to download and take a printout of the Hall Ticket for appearing in the admission test. There are total five Rashtriya Military School in India, two in Rajasthan at Ajmer and Dholpur, two in Karnataka at Bengaluru and Belgaum and one at Chail in Himachal Pradesh. Admission in all the Rashtriya Military School is given through admission test which consists of a written test, an interview and a medical test. Students who wish to take admission in any of the five Rashtriya Military School have to qualify the admission test jointly conducted by all the five Rashtriya Military Schools. Students who qualify the common entrance test have to appear for an interview at the respective Rashtriya Military school. After the interview, merit is prepared on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the written test and interview. Candidates whose name appears in merit will be called for medical test and have to pass the medical test before being offered a seat at any one of the five Rashtriya Military Schools.

Candidates should remember not to bring the restricted items those mentioned in admit card at the time of admission test. If any students are found carrying any restricted items, it could lead to debarring from the exams.

Candidates have to study textbooks from class VIII of subjects primarily from Hindi, Science, Social Science, English and Mathematics. Rashtriya Military School admission test attempts to check the basic understanding of aspirants. The exam pattern is different for class VI and IX. Generally, the level of questions of will be of the previous class standard of CBSE board for which admission is desired.

The total number of questions for class VI admission test is 180 and maximum marks are 200. All questions are of objective type, carrying four choices for every question. Mark scored in English is of qualifying nature only and is not counted for making the merit list. Candidate has to choose the right answer and circle the corresponding choice in OMR sheet with HB pencil only.
Exam Pattern for Class IX
The total number of questions for class IX admission test will be 200 and maximum carrying a total of 200 marks. All the questions will be of objective type carrying four choices for every question. Candidate has to choose the right answer and circle the corresponding choice in OMR sheet with HB pencil only.
Candidates should clearly understand the syllabus and pattern of the admission test.
Students aspiring of admission in class VI should study textbooks from class V.
Students who want to take admission in class IX should study textbooks from class VIII.
Previous year question papers and model papers must be practised to get a clear understanding of the paper.
Practising the sample papers will make students identify their weak and strong points.
Candidates are advised to go through the following advice before appearing for the Rashtriya Military School admission test
Candidates must bring admit card, an identity proof like Aadhaar on the day of examination.
The classroom and seat number will be provided at the exam centre
Admit card and photo identity proof have to be shown to the invigilator
Candidate must come to the exam centre at least half an hour before the commencement of examination to complete frisking and registration formalities.
No candidate will be permitted to enter exam centre half an hour after the commencement of exam.
Candidates are not allowed to carry any baggage or notebooks inside the exam hall with them.
Candidates have to fill the OMR sheet with HB pencil only. For rough work, students can use a pen or pencil.
Space for rough work will be provided in the question paper, candidates must not bring any other notebook/page for rough work.
Any electronic item like mobile phones or calculators is strictly prohibited.
If a candidate is found in possession of any restricted item during the exam or is found indulging in any unfair means, his candidature will stand cancelled.
