Rashtriya Military Schools (RMS) were established to prepare students for leadership roles, these schools emphasise physical fitness and military training apart from regular academic excellence. RMS admissions are based on a competitive entrance exam called as RMS CET (Common Entrance Test). The Rashtriya Military Schools follow a CBSE curriculum. More About Rashtriya Military School Common Entrance Test 2025:
- RMS has announced that the entrance CET exam will be held on December 8, 2024.
- The medium of the CET question paper will be both Hindi and English.
- The RMS CET admit card for admission will be available online on the official website of Rashtriya Military School.
- Students can download admit cards from November 18, 2024 at 4 pm through applicant login.
- The Rashtriya Military Schools will announce the RMS Common Entrance Test results in February 2025. The RMS CET result will be published on - rashtriyamilitaryschools.edu.in.
- Candidates who will clear the written CET 2024 will be shortlisted and called for an interview round. As per the norms and rules of Rashtriya Military Schools, all the candidates are required to go through a medical fitness exam before final admission into RMS. The merit list of selected candidates and the school allotment will be declared online.
- The RMS CET applications were accepted from August 21, 2024, at 10 am to September 19, 2024, at 8 pm.
- Students could make changes in exam location preference from September 20, at 10 am to September 22, 2024, at 8 pm.

- Children aged 10 to 12 years as of March 31, 2025, are eligible for admission to Class 6. Those aged 13 to 15 years as of March 31, 2025, may apply for admission to Class 9.

RMS CET eligibility for Class 6 and 9:
Class 6: Candidates must be aged 10-12 as of March 31, 2025 (born between April 1, 2013, and March 31, 2015). Children of KIA personnel (Killed-in-Action) may get a six-month age relaxation. Candidates must have passed or be currently enrolled in Class 5.
Class 9: Candidates must be aged 13-15 as of March 31, 2025 (born between April 1, 2010, and March 31, 2012). Children of KIA personnel may receive a six-month age relaxation. Candidates must have passed or be currently enrolled in Class 8.

The RMS application forms are accepted only in online mode.

The RMS CET admit card for December 2024 CET exam will be available on November 18, 2024 at 4 pm through the official Rashtriya Military School website. To download the admit card, candidates can follow the steps mentioned below:
- Visit the official website - rashtriyamilitaryschools.edu.in.
- Look for the 'CET admit card 2024' link in the latest news section and click on it.
- Enter the required details to access the admit card.
- Click the ‘Download’ button to save the admit card. Be sure to print it out and bring it on exam day.
RMS will announce the results of the RMS Common Entrance Test (CET) in February 2025.
