• Children aged 10 to 12 years as of March 31, 2027 (born between April 1, 2015 and March 31, 2017, inclusive) are eligible for admission to Class VI. Additionally, those aged 13 to 15 years as of March 31, 2027 (born between April 1, 2012 and March 31, 2014, inclusive) may apply for admission to Class IX. A six-month extension to the upper age limit is allowed for the children of personnel who have been killed in action.

Note: Six months' relaxation in the upper age limit is permissible for wards of personnel killed in Action.

• Educational Qualification:

a) Candidates should have passed or studied in Class 5 to be eligible for RMS Class 6 admission. They should have passed class 5 before the date of admission to Rashtriya Military School.

b) For class 9 RMS Belgaum admission, candidates should have passed class 8 from a government-recognised school before the date of admission to the Rashtriya Military School. They should also preferably know sufficient English, which is the medium of instruction in Rashtriya Military Schools.

• Note down the system-generated application number. The candidate’s Application number will also be sent to his/her email address and phone number.

• Upload the official documents in the format asked on the website. Candidates will be required to upload scanned copies of their photos and signatures. Documents have to be in JPG or JPEG format with a size of not more than 500KB.

• Pay the fees using the payment gateway from the options mentioned on the website.

• After the payment is made successfully, RMS will send a system-generated Registration number to the candidate's mobile number and email address. Keep it safe as it will be required for downloading the ‘Acknowledgement Receipt’.

RMS Belgaum Admission 2027-28 - CET Syllabus

RMS CET Class 6 Syllabus 2027-28

• For admission in Class 6 RMS, the written exam will be of Class 5 level.

• The medium of the question paper will be both Hindi and English.

• The CET 2027 exam for Class 6 is for a total of 200 marks.

• The English subject section will carry 50 marks. Candidates will be required to qualify in this section, even though English marks will not be counted in the final merit.

• The Intelligence Test section, Mathematics, General Knowledge and Current Affairs sections will carry 50 marks each. Students will require at least 40% marks in these sections to qualify.

• For admission in Class 9 RMS, the written exam conducted will be of the Class 8 level.

• The medium of the question paper will be bilingual (Hindi and English).

• The CET 2027-28 exam for class 9 will be a total of 200 marks.

• CET Paper 1 will have 3 subjects - English, Hindi and Social Science. The minimum percentage to qualify for Paper 1 is 50%.

• CET Paper 2 will have Maths and Science subjects carrying equal weightage each. Candidates will be required to score a minimum of 50% in Paper 2 to qualify.
