RMS Belgaum Admission 2024 - Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to take the CET 2024 exam, candidates must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria for the same. Read below to find out the eligibility conditions laid out by RMS for RMS Belgaum 2024 admissions.

• Children aged 10 to 12 years as of March 31, 2025 (born between April 1, 2013 and March 31, 2015, inclusive) are eligible for admission to Class VI. Additionally, those aged 13 to 15 years as of March 31, 2025 (born between April 1, 2010 and March 31, 2012, inclusive) may apply for admission to Class IX. A six-month extension to the upper age limit is allowed for the children of personnel who have been killed in action.

Note: Six months relaxation in upper age limit is permissible for wards of personnel Killed in Action.

• Educational Qualification:

a) Candidates should have passed or studying in class 5 to be eligible for RMS class 6 admission. They should have passed class 5 before the date of admission in Rashtriya Military School.

b) For class 9 RMS Belgaum admission, candidates should have passed class 8 from a government-recognized school before the date of admission to the Rashtriya Military School. They should also preferably know sufficient English which is the medium of instruction in Rashtriya Military Schools.

RMS Belgaum Application Process 2024

Candidates will be required to fill CET application form 2024 at - rashtriyamilitaryschools.edu.in. They should note that RMS application form will only be accepted in online mode only. Read the pointers given below to know more information related to the RMS CET form 2024:

• Open the official website of RMS - rashtriyamilitaryschools.edu.in.

• Click on, ‘CET 2024 Registration’.

• Read all the important instructions listed on the page. Scroll down and tick the checkbox. Now click on, ‘Submit’.

• A new window will appear. Click on the ‘Registration’ link flashing on the right side of the page.

• Now fill all the personal information asked like the student’s name, Gender, class in which admission is sought etc. correctly.

• Fill in the email ID and Mobile number. Now click on, ‘Submit’.

• Note down the system-generated application number. Candidate’s Application number will also be sent on his/her email address and phone number.

• Use the Application number to login and check CET form status 2024.

• Upload the official documents in the format asked on the website. Candidates will be required to upload scanned copies of their photos and signatures. Documents have to be in JPG or JPEG format with a size not more than 500KB.

• Pay the fees using the payment gateway from the options mentioned on the website.

• After the payment is made successfully, RMS will send a system-generated Registration number on the candidates mobile number and email address. Keep it safe as it will be required for downloading the ‘Acknowledgement Receipt’.

RMS Belgaum Admission 2024 - CET Syllabus

Candidates seeking admission in RMS Belgaum 2024 must make a proper study plan and start with their CET exam preparation 2024. Given below is the syllabus for CET 2024 exam class 6 and CET exam class 9 syllabus 2024:

RMS CET Class 6 Syllabus 2024

• For admission in class 6 RMS, the written exam will be of Class 5 level.

• Medium of question paper will be both Hindi and English.

• CET 2024 exam for class 6 will be a total of 200 marks.

• The English subject section will carry 50 marks. Candidates will be required to qualify in this section even though English marks will not be counted in the final merit.

• Intelligence Test section, Mathematics, General Knowledge and Current Affairs section will carry 50 marks each. Students will require at least 40% marks in these sections to qualify.

RMS CET Class 9 Syllabus 2024

• For admission in class 9 RMS, the written exam conducted will be of Class 8 level.

• Medium of question paper will be bilingual (Hindi and English).

• CET 2024 exam for class 9 will be a total of 200 marks.

• CET Paper 1 will have 3 subjects - English, Hindi and Social Science. The minimum percentage to qualify for Paper 1 is 50%.

• CET Paper 2 will have Maths and Science subjects carrying equal weightage each. Candidates will be required to score minimum 50% in Paper 2 to qualify.

• Candidates who will clear the written CET 2024 will be shortlisted and called for the interview.
