Boys whose age is between 10 to 12 years and 13 to 15 years can apply for Sainik School classes 6th and 9th admissions respectively. Eligible students have to register online for Sainik School Admission 2020 till September 23, 2019. To complete the Sainik School admission form, students have to pay the fee of Rs.400/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST) and upload the relevant documents. All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) is a national-level entrance test for Class 5th & 8th students to get admission in 31 Sainik Schools of India. Students have to qualify AISSEE 2020 and a medical examination to get shortlisted. The final admission will be offered on a merit basis only. In 2019, three new Sainik Schools were added at Chandrapur (Maharashtra), Mainpuri (Uttar Pradesh) and Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh).
