What is the route for Sainik School Admission 2027?

The AISSEE 2027 entrance exam, e-counselling, and medical fitness will serve as a means of admission. The selection of students for admission to these schools will be through e-counselling based on their rank in the AISSEE 2027, their medical fitness as determined by competent medical authorities, and the authentication of their original documentation. Admission will take place via two routes:

• 40% route: 40% of seats in AISSEE 2027 will only be filled based on student rank. No Domicile/Category reservation is considered.

• 60% route: 60% of seats are filled by students enrolled in approved NSSs. The positions will be filled based on the rank achieved in the school-wise merit list. No Domicile/Category reservation is considered.

Sainik School 2027 admission will apply an AISSEE NTA reservation policy for various categories. These reservation standards will serve as the foundation for the final decision.

• 15% of the seats are reserved for SC candidates in total.

• 7.5% of the seats are reserved for ST candidates.

• There is also a reservation for home state students, which is 67% of the seats

• Students from other states and union territories are eligible for the remaining 33% of available seats. Unfilled seats in this category will be combined with seats from the home state.

• Children of service personnel, including ex-servicemen, are eligible for a total of 25% of seats.

Step 1: Sainik School Registration 2027 Online

• Go to the official website at exams.nta.nic.in/sainik-school-society/ application 2027.

• On the homepage, click on the "Application" link provided.

• A new page with information on the fee and necessary documents will be displayed. Click the "Proceed" tab after carefully reading these instructions.

• The Sainik School Form 2027 will now show up on the screen with your personal information, exam medium, the school applied for, exam centre preference, father's and mother's information, and permanent residence address.

• Click "Save" to create a User ID and Password, and then save them.

Step 2: Upload Photograph & Signature

• A scanned passport-sized photo should be uploaded.

• In the given size and format, upload the candidate's signature.

• The scanned copies should both be in .jpg format.

• Photographs and signature images should not exceed 1MB in size.

Step 3: Online Fee Payment

• Students must pay the Sainik School fees of Rs 850/- (Rs 700 for SC/STs) online after uploading scanned images.

• Students can pay the fee through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.

Step 4: Upload Documents

• Students are now required to upload scanned copies of their birth certificates, domicile certificates, and caste certificates.

• It should be in .jpg, .png, or .pdf format.

• Students in the General and Defence categories are exempt from uploading a caste certificate.
