Students need to enter their application form number and password to download the admit card. Sainik School Society has started the admission for girl candidates in Class 6 & Class 9. The online registration for girl students has been started from November 26 to December 6, 2019. Sainik School admission 2020 for Girls in 5 schools located at Bijapur (Karnataka), Chandrapur (Maharashtra), Ghorakal (Uttarakhand), Kalikiri (Andhra Pradesh) and Kodagu (Karnataka). The only mode to submit the Sainik School admission form 2020 is online. Students whose age is between 10 to 12 years and 13 to 15 years can apply for Sainik School admission 2020 in class 6 and 9 respectively. To submit the Sainik School admission form successfully, students have to pay the fee of Rs.400/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST) and upload the relevant documents. Sainik School Admission Eligibility 2020

Students need to satisfy the Sainik School admission eligibility 2020 before applying online. The final details of eligibility are mentioned in the official notification. Only Boys are allowed to apply for Sainik School admission 2020. Besides, there is a minimum age limit and education qualification under the eligibility criteria for Sainik school admission-

Eligibility for Class 6th Admission

  • Boys whose age if between 10 to 12 years as on March 31, 2020
  • Students should be studying in Class V in a recognized school.

Eligibility for Class 9th Admission

  • Boys who have an age between 13-14 years as on March 31, 2020.
  • Students should be studying in Class VIII in a recognized school.

Sainik School Admission 2020 Reservation

There will be a reservation policy for different categories for Sainik School Admission 2020. Final selection will be made after considering these Sainik School admission reservation norms-

  • A total of 15% seats are reserved for SC candidates

  • The reservation for ST candidates is 7.5% seats.

  • There is also the reservation for home state students is 67% seats

  • Remaining 33% seats are reserved for students belonging to other states and union territories. Seats that are left unfilled in this category will be merged with seats of the home state.

  • A total of 25% seats are reserved for children of service personnel including ex-servicemen.

Students can register for Sainik school admission 2020 on The process of submitting the application form is completely online. Students have to follow the given steps to complete the Sainik School admission 2020 process.

Step 1: Online Sainik School Registration

  • Visit the main website, and click on the "Application" link available on the home page.
  • A new page with some instructions about the fee, documents required will appear on the screen. Students are suggested to read the instructions carefully and click on "Proceed" tab
  • A blank Sainik School admission 2020 form will appear on your screen entre your personal information, Medium of Exam, School Applied For, Choice of Exam Centres, Father's and Mother's details and permanent address.
  • Now, click on "Save" to generate the User ID and Password and save the same.

Step 2: Upload Photograph & Signature

  • Now, upload the scanned copy of the passport-sized photograph and signature of candidates in the given size and format.
  • Both the scanned copies should be in .jpg format.
  • The size of the photograph and signature image should be less than 1 MB.

Step 3: Online Fee Payment

  • Students should pay an application fee for completing online Sainik School admission 2020 fee.
  • After uploading the scanned images, students have to pay the application fee of Rs. 400/- (Rs. 250 for SC/ST) in online mode.
  • Students can pay the fee through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.
  • There will be additional transaction charges of Rs. 30/-.

Step 4: Upload Documents-

  • In this step, students have to upload the scanned copies of the Birth Certificate, Domicile Certificate, and Caste certificate.
  • The format should be .jpg, .png, .pdf
  • The size of each document should not be more than 2 MB
  • General ad Defence category students need not upload the Caste certificate.

Step 5: Download Confirmation Page- After completing the above steps, a confirmation page will be generated. Students should check all the details available in the Sainik School admission form and download the confirmation page for future reference.

Sainik School Syllabus 2020

  • Sainik School Society prescribed the AISSEE 2020 syllabus for Class 6th & Class 9th entrance exams. Sainik School Admission 2020 test syllabus includes the CBSE Class 5th and CBSE Class 8th syllabus for AISSEE Class 6th & Class 9th exam, respectively.
  • The AISSEE Class 9 syllabus covers topics from Mathematics, English, Science, History, Civics and Geography.
  • Sainik School syllabus for class 6 comprises topics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of numbers, fractions and decimals etc. from the Mathematics (Arithmetic) paper and the English paper includes composition, tenses, synonyms and antonyms and a few other topics.

Sainik School Admission 2020 Qualifying Marks

Sainik School Admission 2020 Merit List

Based on the total marks obtained by candidates, the final merit list for Sainik School admission 2020 will be prepared. Students' rank for Sainik School admission 2020 will be determined on the basis of their marks in the Sainik School Entrance exam and the medical test, both. The following tie-breaking rules will be considered while making the final merit list-

  1. If there is a tie in the overall marks between two students, one securing more marks in mathematics will be considered.
  2. If the tie still persists, English marks will be considered for admission in Class 9th) while for admission in Class 6th, marks obtained in Intelligence Test will be considered.
  3. In the case of a persisting tie, marks for General Science (Class IX)/ Language (class VI) will be taken into account.
  4. Finally, if the tie still remains, the boy younger in age will be selected.

Students have to bring their AISSEE 2020 result card and admit card along with their passport-sized photograph while appearing in the medical exam. The details related to the same will be updated after the declaration of the Sainik School Admission 2020 result.

Sainik School Society is an autonomous authority which conducts admission in all 31 Sainik Schools across the country and Students are admitted in class 6 and 9 on the basis of All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) which is held in two stages.
