Section-wise correct answers
Sainik School Society differentiates the selection process into two rounds. The first round will be a written test. The qualifiers of the first round will be called upon for the medical exam which is the second round exam. Therefore, the final merit list will be prepared and released on March 20, 2020. Candidates must bring original copies of their documents at the time of Sainik School Kodagu admission 2020.
There are some mandatory medical criteria given by Sainik Schools which must be fulfilled by the students. Only those students will be admitted into Sainik Schools who qualify both written and medical tests. Know the medical criteria of Sainik School in the points below.
Students with special needs will not be able to apply due to the strict curriculum of Sainik School.
If the candidate has any tattoo or skin disease, Sainik School Society will deny the admission straight away.
Student’s visual standard need to be 6/6 for both the eyes. The distant vision should be 6/18 for both the eyes.
Remedial operations should be performed before the entry. Sainik School will not accept any liability for the expenses incurred.
The student with any impediment of speech or deformity will not be able to apply for the admission.
The exam conducting body will release the final merit list on March 20, 2020. This merit list will be prepared combining the total marks of entrance and medical test. Sainik School final merit list will contain the application numbers of the selected students of both the rounds. The qualifiers will be further called up for the procedure of document verification and admitted in various Sainik Schools.
Students must note that in the case of a tie between marks of two candidates, the exam conducting body puts forth some norms to solve the same. Read the points given in this section to know the tie-breaking criteria of Sainik School.
In case of a tie, student obtaining higher marks in Maths will be admitted in the school.
English marks will be considered if the tie still exists in the case of the admission in Class 9th. Whereas, in the case of Class 6th, higher marks obtained in Intelligence test will be taken into consideration.
Marks of General Science (Class IX)/Language (class VI) will be considered if the tie still exists.
Candidate of a younger age will be allotted the seat if all the above mentioned tie exists.
