The exam conducting body classifies the selection process into two rounds. The first round will be a written test. Likewise, the selected students of the first round will be called upon for the second round medical exam. Therefore, the final merit list will be released on March 20, 2020. Students are advised to bring the original copy of their documents at the time of Sainik School Punglwa admission 2020.

Students visual standard must be 6/6 for both the eyes. The distant vision must be 6/18 for both better and worse eye.

Students with special needs will not be admitted due to the rigorous curriculum of Sainik School.
If the candidate have any tattoo or skin disease, Sainik School Societywill deny the admission straight away.
Candidate with any impediment of speech or deformity will not be able to apply for Sainik School admission.
The exam conducting body will release the final merit list on March 20, 2020. This merit list will be prepared on the basis of the total marks of written and medical test. This merit list will be released on the official website of Sainik School Society. It will contain the application numbers of the qualifiers of both the rounds. The selected students will be further called for the procedure of document verification and admitted in various Sainik Schools.
There are few norms which are made by the exam conducting body if the case of tie comes over between the marks of the two applicants. Go through the details of tie in this section.
In case of a tie, candidate securing higher marks in Maths will be allotted the seat.
English marks will be counted if the tie still exists in the case of the admission in Class 9th. On the other hand, in the case of Class 6th, higher marks secured in Intelligence test will be taken into account.
Marks of General Science (Class IX)/Language (class VI) will be taken into account if the tie still exists.
The student of a younger age will be considered if all the above mentioned tie exists.
Sainik School is the minimum qualifying marks that must be scored by the students in order to get selected. The cutoff depends upon several factors such as maximum or minimum marks scored, exam difficulty, etc. We have provided expected cutoff of Sainik School.
