Sainik School Kunjpura 2020 Selection criteria

Sainik School Society differentiates the selection process in two rounds. The first round is a written test. The qualifiers of the first round are called for the second round of medical tests. Students must note that the exam conducting body puts forth medical criteria that should be fulfilled by the candidates. The final merit list will be released on March 20, 2020, and then students will be allotted the seats in Sainik School.

Sainik School Kunjpura 2020 Medical Exam

There are some medical criteria which need to be fulfilled by the applicants in order to get admission in Sainik Schools. Some of them are pointed out in this section. Students are advised to go through the same before applying for admission.

  • Students with special needs will not be able to apply for admission to Sainik Schools due to the strict curriculum of the school.

  • Students who have some problems in speaking or have any deformity in any part of the body will be unable to apply for Sainik School.

  • Candidates visual standard must be 6/6 for both the eyes in order to take admission in Sainik School.

  • Any skin disease or tattoos shall cancel the chances of Sainik School Kunjpura admission 2020.

Final Sainik School Kunjpura 2020 Merit List

The final merit list will be prepared by Sainik School Society on the basis of written and medical test on March 20, 2020. This merit list will contain the application number of the selected students. Therefore they will be given admission to various Sainik Schools from March 28 to March 30, 2020. Students must note that they are supposed to bring all the requisite documents for the verification purpose.

Sainik School Kunjpura Result 2020 Tie-Breaking Criteria

There are certain tie - breaking criteria followed by the exam conducting body in case of a tie between marks of two candidates which are discussed below in this section.

  • Student scoring higher in Maths will be allotted the seat in case of a tie.

  • Marks of English will be taken into consideration if the tie still exists for Class 9th admission. Whereas in case of admission in Class 6th, higher marks obtained in Intelligence Test will be considered.

  • If the tie still exists, marks for General Science (Class IX)/Language (class VI) will be taken into account by Sainik School Society.

  • Student younger in age will be considered if all the above-mentioned tie exists.

Sainik School Cut Off

Candidates need to know that the cutoff marks are the minimum qualifying marks for admission in Sainik Schools. Students need to score the qualifying marks in order to get shortlisted in the exam. Sainik School Society is an autonomous authority which conducts admission in all 31 Sainik Schools across the country and Students are admitted in class 6 and 9 on the basis of All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) which is held in two stages.

The authority has released the registration form on August 5, 2019. Students can fill the admission form until October 10, 2019.
