NTSE Sample Papers 2019 – NCERT will release the sample papers of NTSE 2019 online on the official website. Candidates can access and download the NTSE sample papers 2019 for free by clicking on the link below. Sample papers are the previous year test papers which help a candidate in getting acquainted with the format of test paper. The examination conducted by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), has two stages. The Stage1 is a State level test and is conducted by each State/Union Territory, whereas Stage 2 is a national level test conducted by NCERT. Both, Stage 1 and 2 consists of Part 1 and 2 in each paper namely MAT and SAT. Stage 1 has no negative marking while 1/3rd marks are deducted for every wrong attempt in Stage 2 examination. In a similar way, the sample paper of NTSE 2019 also has 2 parts and is an objective type question paper just like the real NTSE Exam.

NTSE Exam Pattern 2019 – Stage 1

 

The NTSE exam pattern 2019 states that the Stage 1 examination can be attempted in either Hindi or English language. Every correct answer will fetch 1 mark while there will be no negative marking for wrong attempts. The total time to answer the paper is 90 minutes. Stage 1 exam of NTS includes two papers - MAT and SAT. The paper pattern of both the papers of NTSE stage 1 is given below:

NTSE Exam Pattern 2019 – Stage 2


Stage 2 of NTSE 2019 is conducted at the National level by NCERT. In Stage 2, only the qualified candidates of Stage 1 can appear to compete for the scholarship. The exam pattern of NTSE 2019 for Stage 2 states that the paper is divided into two parts namely Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). The NTSE Stage 2 exam will be held on May 12, 2019 in all states and union territories of India. There will be 100 questions in both MAT and SAT (Science-40, Maths-20, Social science-40). The duration of both the exams is 2 hours or 120 minutes. Stage 2 of NTSE will not carry any negative marking. Only candidates qualifying in both the papers separately will be considered for merit. Selection of the awardees will be made on the basis of total marks scored in MAT and SAT-based on merit.

 

NTSE Admit Card 2019

 

The admit card of NTSE 2019 stage 1 will be released in October 2018. NTSE admit card 2019 is an important document as no candidate will be allowed to sit for the examination without it thus, candidates must not forget to carry it on the day of exam. The NTSE 2019 admit card mentions details like name of the candidate, date of birth along with the date and address of the exam centre.

 

NTSE Cut Off 2019

SCERT of various states will release the cutoff of NTSE 2019 stage 1 along with the result in the months of January and February, 2019.
