NTSE Tripura 2019 - The NTSE stage 1, 2019 for Tripura will be held on November 4, 2018 by SCERT, Tripura. NTSE Tripura 2019 will be conducted for students in class 10 from the state.  The NTSE 2019 admit card will be handed over to students by the school authority. Candidates are advised to collect the same from their respective school after October 22, 2018. NTSE Tripura 2019 application process has ended.The last date to apply was August 18. The State Council of Educational Research and Training will recommend a list of students for the final stage of talent search as per the State quota on the basis of their performance in Tripura NTSE stage 1. Such students will go on to appear for NTSE stage 2 conducted by NCERT on May 12, 2019 at Delhi. What’s new in NTSE Tripura 2019?


Exam Pattern - NCERT has removed Language test from NTSE 2019 stage 1 examination. Only Mental Ability Test, and Scholastic Ability Test will be conducted.

Reservation- OBC or Other Backward classes will be given a reservation of 27% from this year.

Time Duration - The Time Duration of NTSE Tripura 2019 will be 5 hours. Where, 100 minutes each will be for MAT and SAT, and there will be a 100 minute break between the two tests

NTSE Tripura Result 2019

The result of Tripura NTSE 201able9 are expected to be out between January- February 2019. SCERT, Tripura will release the result of NTSE Tripura 2019 in PDF format. The result file will contain a merit list of selected students, plus their MAT, SAT, overall merit scores, and rank. These selected students will be eligible to participate in stage 2 of NTSE 2019 on May 12 , 2018.

NTSE Tripura Eligibility Criteria 2019

The NTSE 2019 stage 1 Tripura exam will be conducted for class 10 students from government, local body, private aided, and private unaided schools in Tripura. The eligibility criteria of NTSE Tripura specifies the following conditions to be met to apply for the exam.

  • Candidate must be a student of class 10 in the current academic year of 2018-19.

  • Class 10 students who have appeared in board examinations in the year 2018 cannot apply.

  • ODL or Open Distant Learning class 10 students are eligible to apply for NTSE Tripura under the condition that their age is not above 18 years.

How to apply for NTSE Tripura 2019?

To apply for NTSE Tripur for 2019 students followed the steps below.

  • Download and print a copy of the application form from the link given above. Admission card form was also be attached with the form.

  • Fill the required details as asked on the application form, and admission form without any mistakes. It is advised that students take help from a teacher or their parents.

  • Next, attach the required documents as given in the following section.

Photographs - Two passport sized photographs on both the forms. Be sure to attach a fresh and coloured photograph. The Photographs must be verified by the school Principal/ Gazetted officer.

Certificates -

For SC, ST, and OBC categories - The applicants will be required to attach an attested copy of their caste/ category certificates.

For OBC Category - OBC Category applicants must check whether their category is in the central OBC list by National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC). To find your category in the central OBC list, Click here, and locate your category among the list.

For Physically Disabled Applicants - Candidates applying under physical disability (BLV, DH, LD, AID,MD) will be required to attach a copy of their disability certificates issued by recognized medical institutes.

NTSE Tripura 2019 Application Form Submission

The school administration or the head of institution was responsible for submitting the properly filled application form at the state liaison officer by the designated last date of submission. Students were required to fill the form under the supervision of school authorities, and submit it at the school itself to be sent to the state liaison officer for NTSE Tripura 2019. The state liaison officer will allocate the roll number and distribute the admit card/ hall tickets to the students.

NTSE Tripura Admit Card 2019

The admit card of NTSE Tripura 2019 will be available at the state liaison’s officer of the exam. Students who have applied can collect their admit card from the state liaison’s officer at least 21 days before the exam commencement date. NTSE Tripura 2019 exam will be conducted on November 4, 2019.
How to prepare for NTSE Tripura 2019?

Students preparing for NTSE Tripura 2019 will be able to score well if they included syllabus, exam pattern, and sample papers of their exam in their preparation material. NTSE Tripura Exam Pattern 2019

As per the new changes, the examination for Tripura NTSE 2019 will have Mental Ability Test, and Scholastic Ability Test only. Language test will no longer be conducted for NTSE stage 1 exams. NTSE Tripura Sample and Question Paper 2019

The sample and previous years’ question papers are essential preparation tools for qualifying NTSE Tripura 2019. Students should practice with these two frequently, and daily once the exam is closer to get familiar with the exam pattern, types of questions, and more.

NTSE Tripura Answer Key 2019

It is anticipated that the answer key for NTSE Tripura 2019 will be released within weeks of the exam commencement date. The official NTSE Tripura answer key 2019 will be released by SCERT, Tripura by the last week of November 2018. The answer key will contain correct answers for questions asked in MAT, and SAT tests. Alternative answer key of NTSE Tripura 2019 will be released by coaching institutes such as Resonance, FIIT-JEE, Akash and more within a week of the exam date.

NTSE Tripura Cutoff 2019

The cut off marks of NTSE Tripura 2019 will be released by SCERT, Tripura by the last week of January- February 2019. NTSE Tripura cut off 2019 will contain minimum qualifying marks for each of the participating categories. Students who score equal to or more than the cut off marks as per their category will be qualified for final stage of NTSE 2019.

A total of 1,000 merit-based scholarships are awarded each year by NCERT under NTSE programme. Selected students through NTSE Tripura 2019 will participate in second stage/ final stage of the talent search for the scholarships.
