NTSE Haryana 2020- SCERT Haryana has released the question papers and answer key of NTSE Haryana stage 1 exam. Students can download them and calculate their probable scores for the exam held on November 3, 2019. In the next, SCERT will release the result of NTSE Haryana 2020 in form of merit list of selected students. NTSE Haryana admit card 2020 for Stage 1 was released on October 25, 2019. Students had to enter their reference no. or name and date of birth to download online Haryana NTSE admit card. Students must have qualified class 9 with a minimum of 55% marks were eligible to appear for NTSE Haryana 2020. Eligible aspirants could fill the NTSE Haryana application form till September 25, 2019 in the online mode. NTSE stage 1 is organized to shortlist deserving students for the National level stage II exam. NTSE Stage II exam will be held on May 10, 2020. Thereby selected students are awarded scholarships by NCERT. NTSE Haryana Question Papers

Students are advised to prepare for NTSE Haryana 2020 exam using sample papers. NTSE Haryana Answer key 2020

  • NTSE Haryana answer key has been released on the official website of SCERT.
  • Many coaching institutes have also provided the NTSE answer key.
  • NTSE Haryana 2020 answer key carries the correct answers to all the questions asked in the exam.
  • Students can use this NTSE answer key to compare their answers with the correct ones and calculate their probable score.

NTSE Haryana Result 2020

SCERT Haryana will release the NTSE Haryana 2020 result in the fourth week of January 2020. The result will be out in the form of a merit list. Candidates can check their results online. NTSE result includes details such as student's name, roll number, name of the school, section-wise marks, overall score, rank etc. Last year a total of 198 students cleared NTSE stage 1, 2019 Haryana exam. It must be noted that only the students who qualify the State level exam will be allowed to sit in the stage 2 exam. The final NTSE stage 2 result will be announced in September 2020.

NTSE Haryana Cutoff 2020

SCERT Haryana will release NTSE Haryana cutoff along with the result in the third week of March 2020. The cutoff marks are the minimum qualifying marks for the exam. Candidates who will obtain these NTSE Haryana 2020 cutoff marks will be able to appear for the Stage 2 National level NTSE exam in the third week of June 2020. The NTSE Haryana 2019 cutoff for General candidates came out to be 161, 149 for OBC and 128 for SC candidates. Check out the table below to know the detailed NTSE cutoff.

NTSE Scholarship 2020

NTSE is a programme whose sole purpose is to award the scholarship to deserving students. Under this programme, around 2000 scholarships are distributed to the selected candidates in NTSE stage 2. NTSE scholarship 2020 category-wise amount is tabulated below.

NTSE Haryana 2020 Eligibility Criteria

SCERT Haryana puts forth several eligibility criteria for the candidates in order to appear in the exam. Read the clauses of NTSE eligibility criteria 2020 below:

  • The students appearing for NTSE Haryana 2020 must have cleared class 9 with at least 55% marks. It should be noted that eligibility criteria differ for the reserved category students.

  • The candidate will be awarded the scholarship if he/she takes up studies on a whole-time basis.

  • Getting a scholarship from any other source will lead to the cancellation of the NTS scholarship for that period/year.

  • Candidates who have undertaken any job with salary, stipend or remuneration are not eligible for the scholarship.

  • The Indian students studying abroad in Class X shall be permitted to appear directly for the stage II exam on certain conditions and norms by NCERT.

NTSE Haryana 2020 Application Form

NTSE Haryana Stage 1 application form has been released online on August 14, 2019. Students can fill the NTSE 2020 application form till September 25, 2019. It is available in the online mode on the official website of SCERT, Haryana and in the offline mode in the schools. Follow the below-given steps to apply for Haryana NTSE.

  • Visit the official website to download Haryana NTSE 2020 application form

  • Click on the link given in the ‘News and Events’ section. A pdf file will open. Click on the same and download the application form. Print it and keep it safe.

  • Hall ticket form/Admit card will be attached in the application form.

  • Fill in the requisite details and students must make sure that the form is signed by them, their parents, and the school principal on both the forms. Keep the admit card form attached to the application form.

  • Photocopies of caste or any other special reservation certificate must be attached in case the applicant belongs to reserved categories.

  • Applications for NTSE Haryana 2020 must be submitted to the State’s liaison officer. Applicants can also submit the same in their schools. The school authority will further transfer it to the liaison officer.

NTSE Haryana 2020 Admit Card

NTSE admit card could be downloaded online from October 25, 2019. The NTSE Haryana 2020 admit card include the details such as the candidate's name, roll number, exam schedule, information about the test centre, etc. Students should note that carrying NTSE Haryana admit card is mandatory while sitting for the exam. No candidate is allowed to enter the exam hall without the same in any condition. The admit card for stage 2 will be available in the month of April 2020.

  • The question paper is differentiated into two sections namely Mental Ability Test (MAT), and Scholastic Ability Test (SAT).
  • Each of the two sections contains 100 questions each.
  • No negative marking is done for NTSE Haryana 2020.

All the states have released NTSE stage 1 answer keys of MAT and SAT examination. The answer keys are available for examination held on 2,3 and 17 November 2019.

The results may be declared in January/February/ March and stage 2 examination will be held in May 2020.

Though i have not given the exame but the expected cutoff for NTSE maharastra stage 1 is observed to be :

  2. OBC              156-165
  3. SC                 140-150
  4. ST                  126-135

some of the states has already published the answer key , andhra pradesh, gujrat, haryana , puducherry has already published the keys. ntse stage 2 exam will happen on the month of may 2020, so answer keys will be released before the second stage and you may expect it with in the month of february. however follow official website as well as careers360 website to get upcoming details.


My son is currently in grade 9. Will move on to 10th next year i.e. 2020-21. When can he attempt for NTSE ?

ncert in general releases the ntse exam for on the month august .

ntse stage 1 exams was held on on the month of November this year.exams date can be different for different states. the eligibility criteria is Students who are studying in Class 10 from  any recognized school,  students under Open & Distance Learning education board  are also eligible to appear in Stage 1 of NTSE exam.
