Q:What are the benefits of NTSE 2020?

A: NTSE is one of the most prestigious exams in the educational field. Qualifying the same will not only let students get scholarships but also add value to their educational qualification. Students will be able to score even greater in 10th board exam if they prepare for NTSE as the board syllabus and NTSE syllabus are almost similar.

Q:Are the NTSE stage I qualifying marks different from stage II qualifying marks?

A: No, both the stages have the same qualifying marks i.e., 40% out of the total marks. As far as the difficulty level is concerned, NTSE stage 2 is comparatively tougher than stage 1 exam. Stage II exam consists of questions with logical concepts and students need to prepare well for cracking the same.

Q: How should I prepare for NTSE Stage 2 exam?

A: Students must know that NCERT does not specify any particular syllabus for the exam. The curriculum of class 9 and some topics of 10th should be thoroughly prepared by the students keeping in mind the exam pattern and marking scheme. Q: Will I qualify for the NTSE exam and get the scholarship if I obtain the qualifying marks?

A: NTSE qualifying marks are 40% of the total marks. Students must note that the selection depends upon the NTSE cutoff which is released just after results. If a candidate obtains 40% marks he will be considered as a qualifier of the exam. But the selection process will depend on the respective cut off of that particular year. NTSE cutoff is prepared on the basis of the statistics of the highest marks obtained by the overall applicants.
