NTSE Bihar 2020 - SCERT, Bihar will conduct the Bihar NTSE 2020 (Stage 1) on November 17, 2019. The application process for NTSE Bihar 2020 will commence from September 6 on biharscert.in. All Class 10th students who are studying in a recognized school can apply for the NTSE Bihar exam till September 30, 2019 through their respective schools. Applicants will be able to download the admit card in online mode for NTSE stage I exam from November 4, 2019.

NTSE is held in two stages. The first stage is conducted by the States/UTs while the second stage is conducted by NCERT on the National level. Only those students are allowed to appear in the Stage II exam who qualify the stage I exam. Selected candidates after stage II are awarded scholarships. NTSE Bihar 2020 - Eligibility Criteria

NTSE eligibility criteria 2020 puts forth some conditions for the students to appear in the Stage I exam. Go through the pointers below to know the eligibility criteria of Bihar NTSE 2020:

  • Students must note that they are supposed to obtain at least 60% marks in Class 9 to be able to sit in NTSE Bihar 2020. This figure may change for the students with reservations.

  • Students studying in schools affiliated to Bihar Government/CBSE/ ICSE/Bihar State Madrasa Education Board and Bihar Sanskrit Education Board are eligible to appear in NTSE Bihar 2020.

  • Getting a scholarship from any other source will lead to the cancellation of the NTSE scholarship for that period/year.

  • Students registered under Open Schooling are also eligible to appear for NTSE Bihar 2020.

NTSE Bihar application forms 2020 will be released on September 6, 2019 for students in online mode. Students must fill the NTSE Bihar 2020 application form till September 30, 2019. NTSE application form released in the online mode on the official website of SCERT, Patna. Follow the steps given below to know the application process of Bihar NTSE 2020.

How to apply for NTSE Bihar 2020?

  • Students should contact their respective school authority and get details about the required documents.

  • They will have to submit the required documents to the school authority before the last date along with the application fee.

  • The Principal/Vice-Principal of the respective school has to approve the submitted application forms online till October 5, 2019.

NTSE Bihar Stage I 2020 Admit Card

NTSE Bihar 2020 admit card will be available in the month of October 2019. Students can collect the same from their respective school authority. NTSE admit card includes the details such as the candidate's name, information about the test centre, roll number, exam schedule, etc.

Students must note that they need to carry the admit card positively on the day of the examination. Without the same, no candidate will be allowed to sit for NTSE Bihar 2020.

How to prepare for NTSE Bihar 2020?

NTSE Bihar 2020 Answer key

SCERT Patna will release the official answer key on November 22, 2020 on the official website. In case of any objection or incorrect answer, students can submit the challenge against the answer key. The final answer keys will be issued in December 2019. Students may check their answers using NTSE Bihar answer key. This will help them to know their probable score of NTSE Bihar Stage 1. Answer key helps in predicting the marks on a prior basis and know the probability of the candidate will be selected in the NTSE exam or not.

NTSE Bihar Result 2020

SCERT Bihar will declare NTSE Bihar result in the second week of January 2020. The result will be released in the form of a merit list. This merit list will contain details of the selected candidate like name, roll number, city, school’s name, mark obtained in SAT and MAT tests, etc. Students must keep an eye on the official website to know the notification regarding the Bihar NTSE result.

Question: Can a UP domiciled student apply for NTSE Bihar 2020?

Answer:

NCERT imposed no domicile restrictions for NTSE exam. So UP and other state students studying in schools affiliated with BSEB/CBSE/ ICSE/Bihar State Madrasa Education Board and Bihar Sanskrit Education Board can apply for this Bihar NTSE 2020. 

Question: My school is not conducting NTSE exam, what can I do?

Answer:

You should tell your school authority and classmates about this exam and indulge them in this practice. Then, you should request your school authority to conduct NTSE exam.

NTSE has two parts that are SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) and MAT (Mental Ability Test). The MAT section will test students on their thinking ability, Reasoning etc. while the SAT is further divided into three sub-sections namely Science, Maths and Social Science.
