NTSE Stage 2 Result 2018 – National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has announced the final NTSE stage 2 result on September 18, 2018. The result of NTSE stage 2 2018 is available online in PDF format and includes category-wise list of students selected for the scholarship programme. NCERT has also released the NTSE cut off for Stage 2. Those shortlisted will be awarded a monthly scholarship amount of Rs 1250 (10+2 level), Rs 2000 (undergraduation and post-graduation) and as per UGC norms for PhD students.
Provisional NTSE stage 2 result 2018 was declared on August 30, 2018 and could be checked by entering a student's roll number, date of birth and security code in the login window. It comprised test takers' scores in SAT and MAT, OMR sheet and final answer key. Students could report discrepancies to NCERT via mail till September 7, 2018. The final result of NTSE stage 2 2018 has been released and the link has been updated here. It is available in PDF format in the form of a merit list.
Candidates could check provisional NTSE 2018 Stage 2 result using the steps explained below.
Step 1: Students had to click on the link ‘NTSE stage 2 result’ provided above.
Step 2: They have to submit their roll numbers, Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY) and security code in the login window.
Step 3: The OMR sheet and the scoring key appeared on the screen. Candidates could download the result consisting of OMR sheet and answer key and cut off.

NTSE Stage 2 Qualifying marks
NTSE stage 2 is conducted for total 200 marks. Each paper carries 100 marks. The qualifying marks for general category is 40 % while it is 32 % for SC, ST and PWD for MAT and SAT papers. No marks is deducted for wrong answers. Candidates qualifying in both the papers separately are considered for merit. Selection of the awardee is made on the basis of total marks scored in MAT and SAT.

NTSE Stage 2 Cutoff 2018
The cutoff of NTSE stage 2 has been released along with the final result on September 18, 2018. Candidates securing NTSE cutoff of stage 2 have been selected for the award of scholarship. The exam conducting authority will release category-wise cutoff score. Besides the qualifying marks, students will have to secure the cutoff score as per their category. NTSE cutoff of stage 2 cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates have to score to qualify the exam and become eligible for the scholarship. To facilitate the candidates to verify their scores obtained in MAT and SAT, examination authority released the OMR sheet and final scoring keys. To access NTSE stage 2 scores, candidates had to enter roll number and date of birth. In case of any discrepancies in scores, candidates were able to report it via mail to the examination authority.
