NTSE Stage 2 ResultNTSE Stage 2 Result 2018 – The result of NTSE stage 2 will be declared in the third week of August, 2018 by National Council for Educational Research and Training. The exam of NTSE stage 2 was conducted on May 13, 2018. The stage 2 exam of NTSE was conducted for those candidates who cleared the stage 1 by securing the qualifying marks and cutoff. NTSE Stage 2 result 2018 will be available online separately for all categories – General, SC and ST in PDF format. The link to check NTSE stage 2 result will be provided here. On the basis of total marks scored in Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), merit and cutoff, candidates will be selected for the award of scholarship. Students selected for scholarship will get Rs 1250/- per month in class XI and XII and Rs 2000/- per month for pursuing their under-graduation and above. Prior to the declaration of final NTSE result 2018, the council releases OMR sheet and final scoring key. NTSE Stage 2 Result 2018 – Details of marks

 

To facilitate the candidates to verify their scores obtained in MAT and SAT, examination authority releases the OMR sheet and final scoring keys. To access NTSE stage 2 scores, candidates have to enter roll number and date of birth. In case of any discrepancies in scores, candidates can contact the examination authority.

 

NTSE Stage 2 Result 2018 – Qualifying marks

 

NTSE stage 2 will be conducted for total 200 marks. Each paper carries 100 marks. The qualifying marks for general category is 40 % while it is 32 % for SC, ST and PWD for MAT and SAT papers. No marks will be deducted for wrong answers. Candidates qualifying in both the papers separately are considered for merit. Selection of the awardee is made on the basis of total marks scored in MAT and SAT.

NTSE Stage 2 Cutoff 2018

 

The cutoff of NTSE stage 2 will be released along with the result. Candidates securing NTSE cutoff of stage 2 will be selected for the award of scholarship. The exam conducting authority will release category-wise cutoff score. Besides the qualifying marks, students will have to secure the cutoff score as per their category. NTSE cutoff of stage 2 cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates have to score to qualify the exam and become eligible for the scholarship.
