Every year, the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) releases the RBSE Class 12 biology syllabus 2026. The board released the Class 12 biology syllabus on the official website, rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in/. The RBSE 12th biology syllabus is divided into five units with a total of 13 chapters. The overall marking scheme is 100 marks, with 70 marks allotted for the RBSE 12th theory paper and the remaining 30 marks for practical work, which includes a combination of sessional and lab components.

The RBSE 12th biology theory exam is worth 56 marks, with an additional 14 marks for sessional assessment. The highest weightage is given to the units on "Human Health and Disease" and "Molecular Basis of Inheritance," with questions from each unit being worth 6 marks. There is also a practical exam, which is worth 30 marks.
