NTSE Maharashtra 2020 - MSCE has released the Maharashtra NTSE 2020 result on February 27, 2020. The merit lists and cutoffs has also been published along with result. NTSE Maharashtra answer key 2020 for stage 1 exam was released on November 27, 2019. The admit card 2020 for the stage 1 exam was released on October 15, 2019. Students could collect their admit cards from their respective school authorities. Maharashtra State Council of Examinations (MSCE) conducted the NTSE Maharashtra Stage 1 application process through respective schools. There are two sections in the NTSE Exam namely Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) of 100 marks each. Each section needs to be answered within a duration of 120 minutes and to qualify, a student needs to secure 40% (32% for SC/ST/PH) in both the papers separately.

NTSE Scholarships 2020

Under the NTSE programme, 2000 scholarships are distributed each year by the national conducting body, NCERT. Students selected through NTSE Maharashtra 22020 will sit for NTSE stage 2 and compete for the NTSE scholarships.

NTSE Maharashtra Eligibility Criteria

  • Students studying in class 10 from Maharashtra are eligible to apply for Maharashtra NTSE 2020.
  • They must be appearing for class 10 board exams for the first time.
  • Students must have passed the class 9th exams with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates)
  • Open school students can also apply for NTSE Stage 1 however, their age should be less than 18 years. Also, students should not be earning.
  • Students can only receive only one scholarship amount at a time.

NTSE Maharashtra 2020 Application Form

MSCE will release the NTSE Maharashtra application form online in the second week of August 2019. The last date to apply will fall in September, while students could submit the form with late fee till last week of September 2019. Students can also acquire the NTSE Application form from their respective schools, fill it offline and submit it after paying the required fee (Rs. 120). Students will also be able to download the form online by clicking on the link given on this page and registering themselves. After filling the form, they should submit the same to their schools. NTSE Maharashtra 2020 application form will then be submitted to the state liaison’s officer by the school authority before the last date. NTSE stage 2 exam 2020 will be held on May 10, 2020. Around one month is left for the exam and till then, the government will control over the situation in the country. So, it is effected the NTSE exam date will not be changed due to coronavirus.

the eligibility criteria for NTSE2020-21 is as mentioned below

  1. Candidates should be registered with the State/UT exam conducting body. (Only Indian nationals)
  2. The candidates who are in class X can also apply for the test.
  3. The candidates who want to give NTSE exam in class X should have cleared class IX examination from a recognized board and scored  minimum of 60% marks.
  4. The candidates must have obtained degree recognized by the board.
  5. The students who have completed/appearing for class 10 th examination and are registered under Open Distance Learning (ODL) can appear for the NTSE exam. The candidate must be below 18 years of age and must not be employed.

Ntse means National Talent Search Exam which is conducted to give scholarships to the students who are highly taled as government will provide them scholarships as cutoff marks will be based on category and resevations and no.of seats available for the candidates, no.of candidates appeared for the exam and difficulty level of the  question paper ,and previous year cutoff marks are taken into consideration and you should get maximum of 75 percent of the marks to the total marks in ntse of Chandigarh  and  so that study well and work hard to get good marks All the best for your future and i think my suggestions and knowledge may be helpful to u.

The NTSE stage 1, was already conducted in the months of November- December, 2019 in different states. The results are being declared by different states. The stage 2 for NTSE is scheduled to be on 10 May, 2020. Till now, no official statement has been passed for the postponement of the exam. You must keep an eye on the official website for updates.
