Students studying in class 10 from Maharashtra are eligible to apply for Maharashtra NTSE 2024.
They must be appearing for class 10 board exams for the first time.
Students must have cleared the class 9th exams with at least of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates)
Open school students can also apply for NTSE Maharashtra stage 1. But, their age should be less than 18 years and they should not be employed.
Students can only receive only one scholarship amount at a time.

Students are required to pay the exam fee through SBI (State Bank of Indian) Challan only. Below, we have given some details on NTSE Maharashtra registration fees 2024.

MSCE, Pune is responsible for releasing the NTSE Maharashtra 2024 admit card through respective schools. It is expected to be released in the first week of December 2024. Students can collect their NTSE admit card Maharashtra 2024 from the concerned authority of their school.
NTSE Exam has two sections namely Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) of 100 marks each.
As per NTSE exam pattern, each section needs to be answered within a duration of 120 minutes and to qualify, a student needs to secure 40% (32% for SC/ST/PH) in both the papers separately.
NTSE Maharashtra 2024 has no negative marks, and each question is worth 1 mark.

The Maharashtra NTSE answer key consists of all correct answers to the questions asked in the exam.
Candidates should use the answer key to calculate an estimate of their scores for NTSE Maharashtra 2024.
The result of NTSE Maharashtra 2024 will be released in February, tentatively.
The NTSE result 2024 will be available in the form of a merit list.
The result merit list consists of the MAT, SAT, and overall scores of each candidate.

Under the NTSE programme, 2000 scholarships are distributed each year by the national conducting body, NCERT. Students selected through NTSE Maharashtra 2024 will sit for NTSE stage 2 and compete for the NTSE scholarships.
