NTSE Maharashtra Eligibility Criteria

  • Students studying in class 10 from Maharashtra are eligible to apply for Maharashtra NTSE 2024.

  • They must be appearing for class 10 board exams for the first time.

  • Students must have cleared the class 9th exams with at least of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates)

  • Open school students can also apply for NTSE Maharashtra stage 1. But, their age should be less than 18 years and they should not be employed.

  • Students can only receive only one scholarship amount at a time.

NTSE Maharashtra 2024 Syllabus Exam Pattern

  • NTSE Exam has two sections namely Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) of 100 marks each.

  • As per NTSE exam pattern, each section needs to be answered within a duration of 120 minutes and to qualify, a student needs to secure 40% (32% for SC/ST/PH) in both the papers separately.

  • NTSE Maharashtra 2024 has no negative marks, and each question is worth 1 mark.
