NTSE Maharashtra 2019 - Maharashtra State Council of Examinations (MSCE), Maharashtra, will conduct NTSE Maharashtra stage 1 exam on November 4, 2018. The NTSE 2019 admit card will be handed over to students by the school authority. Candidates are advised to collect the same from their respective school. The application form of Maharashtra NTSE 2019 had been made available on August 16, 2018. The last date to submit the online application was extended upto September 23 without late fees and September 29 including late fees. Students of Maharashtra, studying in class 10 were eligible to apply for the scholarship exam.

As per the exam pattern, there are two sections in the test namely Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) of 100 marks each. Each section has to be answered within a duration of 120 minutes and to qualify, a student needs to secure 40% (32% for SC/ST/PH) in both the papers separately. NTSE is held in two stages; stage 1 is the state level talent search exam which is also the qualifying exam for stage 2. National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) will conduct stage 2 NTSE 2019 on May 12, 2019. NTSE Maharashtra 2019 - Eligibility Criteria

Students currently studying in class 10 from Maharashtra were eligible to apply for Maharashtra NTSE 2019.

 

NTSE Maharashtra 2019 - Application Form

MSCE released NTSE Maharashtra 2019 application form online on August 16, 2018. The last date to apply was September 14, while students could submit the form with late fee till September 22, 2018. Students could acquire the forms from their respective schools, fill it offline and submit it after paying the required fee (Rs. 120). Students were also able to download the form online by clicking on the link given on this page and registering themselves. After filling the form, they had to submit the same to their schools. NTSE Maharashtra exam application form were then submitted to the state liaison’s officer by the school authority before the last date. Candidates had to enter the following details while registering for Maharashtra NTSE 2019:

NTSE Maharashtra 2019 - Exam Fee

Details on examination fee for Maharashtra NTSE exam 2019 have been given below. Payment of exam fee was to be done through SBI (State Bank of Indian) Challan only.

NTSE Maharashtra 2019 - Exam Pattern

Examination for stage 1 Maharashtra NTSE 2019 will be conducted in two parts, Mental Ability Test (MAT), and Scholastic Ability Test (SAT). MAT and SAT will contain 100 questions each. There will be no negative marking in NTSE Maharashtra 2019, and each question is worth 1 mark. Language Test or Language Comprehension Test will not be a part of stage 1 NTSE this year as per fresh notifications released by National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT).

NTSE Maharashtra Question Papers 2019

Applicants of Maharashtra NTSE exam 2019 should prepare with sample papers for the exam. Students can download the sample papers for NTSE 2019 on the official website of NCERT under the title ‘Learn about the test’. Practicing with Maharashtra NTSE exam 2019 sample papers will help students get familiar with the new exam pattern, time duration etc, of the exam. Language test or Language Comprehension Test will not be a part of stage 1 NTSE for 2019 as per notification released by NCERT. NTSE Maharashtra Answer Key 2019

 

Students who appeared for Maharashtra NTSE 2019 can expect the release of official answer key for Maharashtra NTSE exam 2019 by the last week of November 2018. Unofficial answer key will be available on the websites of various coaching institutes by the second week of November 2018. Answer key for Maharashtra NTSE exam 2019 will be posted here as soon as it is released officially by MSCE, Maharashtra. Students should use NTSE Maharashtra Answer Key to calculate an estimate of their scores for Maharashtra NTSE 2019 exam.

 

NTSE Maharashtra Result 2019

Students can expect the results for stage 1 Maharashtra NTSE 2019 to be out by the last week of January 2019. NTSE Maharashtra results 2019 will contain MAT, SAT and overall scores of each candidate. Students can check their results at the official website of MSCE, Pune. Students will be required to fill in their seat number and their school codes to check their results.

 

NTSE Maharashtra Cutoff 2019

Students appearing for NTSE Maharashtra exam 2019 can expect the cutoffs to be out with exam results. NTSE Maharashtra cutoffs are the least qualifying scores for stage 2 NTSE 2019. Stage 1 Maharashtra NTSE cut off for MAT, SAT, and overall scores will be available here as soon as they are released officially.

 

Stage 2 NTSE 2019 - Scholarships and awards


Under NTSE programme 1000 scholarships are distributed each year by the national conducting body NCERT. Students selected through NTSE Maharashtra exam 2018 will compete for the 1000 scholarship at NTSE 2019.
