    Students seeking to apply for any scholarship through the NSP portal must first complete One Time Registration before applying. Mentioned below are the steps to generate OTR:

    • Visit the official website - scholarships.gov.in.

    • Click on the One Time Registration (OTR) option.

    • Register using a valid mobile number.

    • A reference number will be generated and sent to the registered mobile number.

    • Download the NSP OTR App and Aadhaar FaceRD application on an Android device.

    • Complete face authentication using the generated reference number.

    • After successful authentication, the OTR number will be generated. Save the OTR details for future scholarship applications.

    • Minor students can register using the Aadhaar details of their parent or legal guardian.

    • Parents or guardians should ensure that the demographic details used during registration match the student's Aadhaar details when Aadhaar is subsequently generated.

    • A parent or legal guardian can generate up to two OTRs for two minor children.
