NTSE Maharashtra Cutoff 2019 – SCERT, Maharashtra will release the NTSE Maharashtra cut off for stage 1 along with the result in the third week of March, 2019. The NTSE 2019 cut off for stage 1 is the minimum score that the candidates need to secure in order to qualify for the second stage of NTSE. The NTSE Maharashtra cut off 2019 will be published online, category-wise. If a candidate is unable to meet the cut off of NTSE Maharashtra, their name will not appear in the NTSE Maharashtra merit list and he/she can not sit for NTSE Stage 2 exam. Cutoff of NTSE 2019 will be released at two levels -

  • State Level – SCERT, Maharashtra will declare the NTSE Maharashtra cutoff of Stage 1 in March, 2019.

  • National Level – NCERT will declare the final NTSE cut off 2019 in August 2019. 

A candidate needs to qualify in both the cutoffs to avail the NTSE scholarship.

Factors that determine NTSE Maharashtra Cutoff 2019


The cutoff of NTSE Maharashtra 2019 depends on a number of factors, some of them are mentioned below:

  • Total applications received

  • The difficulty level of the exam

  • The number of candidates appearing in the exam

  • Total available seats

  • The category under which admission is sought 

NTSE Result 2019


SERT, Maharashtra declares the result in the third week of March, 2019 along with the cutoff. The result contains details about candidates roll no., school address, gender, category, MAT score, SAT score, overall marks etc. It could easily be downloaded by entering 13-digit seat no. or 11-digit UDISC code.


NTSE Scholarship Amount

A candidate who qualifies both Stage 1 and Stage 2 exam for NTSE is eligible for the NTSE Scholarship. Scholarship holder can avail the scholarship for a maximum period of 12 months in an academic year. Payment for the scholarship is made only after document verification and approval from school authorities.
