Result of NTSE Assam 2019 has been released by the Director Of Secondary Education Guwahati, Assam on March 8, 2019 in online mode. Qualified candidates of stage 1 will sit for stage 2 exam, to be scheduled on May 12, 2019. Stage 2 is conducted by National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). The admit card for stage 2 will be available in the month of April 2019 and result for the same will be declared in the month of September 2019.

The total marks of NTSE have been increased from 150 to 200 along with the removal of the language test. The official cut off will be released along with the result. The cutoff is expected to be around 140.
