NTSE Assam 2020-21 - Application Form Released
NTSE Assam 2020-21 - Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam has started the NTSE 2021 Assam applications from October 25, 2020 on madhyamik.assam.gov.in. Students can fill the NTSE Assam application form until November 25, 2020. The stage 1 NTSE Assam 2020-21 exam will be conducted on December 13, 2021. NTSE Assam admit card 2020-21 for stage 1 will be released on December 1, 2020. Students have to pay a fee of Rs.250/- (Rs. 200/- for SC/ST) in online mode to complete the Assam NTSE 2021 application process. Eligible students will be shortlisted based on their performance in NTSE 2021 exam for scholarship. Approx 205 students will be shortlisted in NTSE Assam 2020-21 scholarship. NTSE Assam 2020-21 Eligibility Criteria
Assam NTSE exam bears some eligibility criteria for the students to appear in the stage I exam. Students must go through the required criteria before applying for the NTSE Assam 2020-21. NTSE eligibility criteria 2020-21 are mentioned below.
Students studying in Class X in Govt./Local Body/Govt. Aided school /private school are eligible to appear in the NTSE stage I exam.
Applicants must have scored 40% in Class 9th exam in order to appear in the exam. The scores must be at least 32% for SC/ST/PH candidates.
Candidates enrolled under open schooling are also eligible to apply for NTSE Assam 2020-21 exam.
It must be noted that no candidate will be eligible for the NTSE exam who is employed in a job with salary, remuneration or stipend.
NTSE Assam 2020-21 Application Form
The NTSE application forms are available from October 25, 2020, at madhyamik.assam.gov.in. Students must fill the Assam NTSE 2021 application form until November 25, 2020. Applicants have to pay the exam fee through Debit/Credit card or online SBI. Follow the given steps to apply for NTSE Assam 2020 below.
How to apply for NTSE Assam 2020-21?
Step 1: Students must visit the official website to fill the NTSE application form for Assam stage 1 exam.
Step 2: Documents required for the application process of NTSE Assam 2020-21 are as follows:
a) Candidate’s photograph’s scanned copy
b) Candidate’s signature’s scanned copy
c) scanned copy of candidate’s caste certificate(for reserved category candidate)
d) Scanned copy of candidate’s disability certificate (if any).
Step 3: Download and print the declaration by the Gazetted Officer and get it filled up by the head of the institution/ Gazetted Officer. Scan and keep it ready while online form submission.
Step 4: Fill the NTSE Assam application form carefully and upload a scanned photograph and signature (size of photograph and signature should not exceed 35kb and 30kb. The photograph and signature should be either in ‘.jpeg’, or ‘.jpg’ format.
Step 5: Applicants must remember the password given to them. It is essential for further login. Call the helpline no. for any related query: 09769199421 (Monday to Saturday: 10 AM to 6 PM).
Step 6: After submitting the online application form, candidates must take the SBI bank E-challan print out which is in two parts. Log in with the given password and take a printout of the online submission form after successful payment.

Students can now download the admit card for NTSE Assam 2021 on the official website of Board of Secondary Education, Assam. NTSE 2021 admit card bears the details such as the candidate's name, information about the test centre, roll number, exam schedule, etc. Candidates must remember that they will not be allowed to appear for the exam if they fail to bring their NTSE Assam 2020 admit card with them.

NTSE Assam 2020-21 Preparation Tips

NTSE Assam Question Papers 2020-21

Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam usually does not publish the answer keys on their official website. Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam will release the NTSE Assam result in the last week of January 2021. The result will be published online in the form of a merit list which will include the name of students who qualify in the first round. NTSE 2021 result consists of the details such as candidate’s name, roll number, marks obtained in MAT, SAT and the total score. Students must note that only those candidates will be allowed to appear for NTSE stage II exam who qualify the stage I exam.
The exam authority will release the NTSE cutoff 2021 after the declaration of the results. Can 12th passout students apply for NTSe
Students studying in class 10 are eligible to appear in the NTSE 2021 exam. It must be noted that Indian students studying abroad can appear directly for the stage 2 exam. NTSE Exam 2021 stage 1 will be conducted on December 12 and 13, 2020. Those students who will qualify stage 1 exam will be eligible for the stage 2 exam to be conducted on June 13, 2021.

As per your queries, in NTSE form if it is compelsary to attach or submit income certificate i.e, if that is marked as compelsary then the income certificate should be attached or submitted if not then no need to worry if you have not attached the income certificate.
