NTSE Assam 2020 - The renowned coaching institutes have already released unofficial answer keys of NTSE Assam 2020 for stage 1 exam. The directorate conducted stage 1 NTSE Assam 2020 exam on November 3, 2019. NTSE Assam admit card 2020 for stage 1 was released on madhyamik.assam.gov.in. Applicants have to enter application number and Name to download the NTSE Assam admit card 2020. The last date to submit Assam NTSE application forms was October 10, 2019. Students have to pay a fee of Rs.250/- (Rs. 200/- for SC/ST) in online mode to complete the NTSE Assam 2020 application process. Eligible students will be shortlisted based on their performance in Stage 1 & Stage 2 NTSE Exam. Approx 205 students will be shortlisted in NTSE Assam result 2020 and these students will be called to appear for the stage 2 exam, to be held on May 10, 2020. NTSE Assam Question Papers

Students must refer to the NTSE Assam Question Papers to know the exam pattern of the exam. Solving these papers also helps them to know the questions frequently asked, marking scheme and difficulty level. NTSE Assam 2020 Answer key

Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam usually does not publish the answer keys on their official website. However, students can refer to the answer keys given by various coaching institutes in order to check their probable score. NTSE Answer Key 2020 contains the correct answers which will help the students to predict their scores.

NTSE Assam 2020 Result

Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam will release the NTSE Assam result in the second week of March 2020. The result will be published online in the form of a merit list which will include the name of students who qualify in the first round. NTSE 2020 result consists of the details like candidate’s name, roll number, marks obtained in MAT, SAT and the total score. Students must note that only those candidates will be allowed to appear for NTSE stage II exam who qualify the stage I exam.

NTSE Assam 2020 Cutoff

The exam authority will release the NTSE cutoff after the declaration of the results. NTSE Assam 2020 Eligibility criteria

Assam NTSE exam bears some eligibility criteria for the students to appear in the stage I exam. Students must go through the required criteria before applying for the NTSE Assam 2020. NTSE eligibility criteria are mentioned below.

  • Students studying in Class X in Govt./Local Body/Govt. Aided school /private school are eligible to appear in the NTSE stage I exam.

  • Applicants must have scored 40% in Class 9th exam in order to appear in the exam. The scores must be at least 32% for SC/ST/PH candidates.

  • Candidates enrolled under open schooling are also eligible to apply for NTSE Assam 2020 exam.

  • It must be noted that no candidate will be eligible for the NTSE exam who is employed in a job with salary, remuneration or stipend.

NTSE Assam 2020 Application form

The NTSE application forms are available from September 1, 2019, at madhyamik.assam.gov.in. Students must fill the Assam NTSE 2020 application form until October 10, 2019. Applicants have to pay the exam fee through Debit/Credit card or online SBI. Follow the given steps to apply for NTSE Assam 2020 below.

How to apply for NTSE Assam 2020?

Step 1: Students must visit the official website to fill the NTSE application form for Assam stage 1 exam.

Step 2: Documents required for the application process of NTSE Assam 2020 are as follows:

a) Candidate’s photograph’s scanned copy

b) Candidate’s signature’s scanned copy

c) scanned copy of candidate’s caste certificate(for reserved category candidate)

d) Scanned copy of candidate’s disability certificate (if any).

Step 3: Download and print the declaration by the Gazetted Officer and get it filled up by the head of the institution/ Gazetted Officer. Scan and keep it ready while online form submission.

Step 4: Fill the NTSE Assam application form carefully and upload scanned photograph and signature (size of photograph and signature should not exceed 35kb and 30kb. The photograph and signature should be either in ‘.jpeg’, or ‘.jpg’ format.

Step 5: Applicants must remember the password given to them. It is essential for further login. Call the helpline no. for any related query: 09769199421 (Monday to Saturday: 10 AM to 6 PM).

Step 6: After submitting the online application form, candidates must take SBI bank E-challan printout which is in two parts. Log in with the given password and take a printout of the online submission form after successful payment.

Hi Samur,
The expected cut off for NTSE 2020 for Himachal Pradesh is 125 -135 for general category and 90 - 100 for OBC. Last year it was 128 for general category and 89 for OBC. SCERT conducts exam for HP.
The result of NTSE will be published in February 2020 and second stage exam will take place on May 10, 2020, and the result will be out by September 2020.

As you mentioned,  Your marks are good enough to get selected for next stage.  Because as per the previous year cut offs,  for general category expected cut off marks is 130+
And your score is good enough than this.

Hello Tanish,  Good morning.
Scoring 170+ marks In NTSE is really good thing.  Final results of NTSE stage 1 is not released yet,  But you can predict your chance of selection based on expected cut off marks.  As per these,  The expected cut off for general category is 130-140+ .
So as per this marks,  You will definitely got selected for next stage of NTSE.
So be prepared for stage 2.

You have not mentioned your category nevertheless the cut off is as follows for each category not NTSE Kerala stage 1 (2019)

General category - 143

OBC - 119

SC- 101.

As you have scored above cut off marks you have good chances of being eligible for stage 2.
