NTSE Assam 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Students who are applying for exams must ensure that they meet the NTSE 2024 eligibility criteria. The NTSE Assam 2024 eligibility criteria is mentioned below.

  • Students studying in Class X in Govt./Local Body/Govt. Aided school /private school are eligible to appear in the NTSE stage I exam.

  • Aspirants must have scored 40% in the Class 9th exam. The scores must be at least 32% for SC/ST/PH candidates.

  • Candidates enrolled under open schooling are also eligible to apply for the NTSE Assam 2024 exam.

  • It must be noted that no candidate will be eligible for the NTSE exam who is employed in a job with salary, remuneration or stipend.

  • Students must hold Indian Nationality.

  • NMMS scholarship holders are also eligible

How to Apply for NTSE Assam 2024?

Students should follow the given steps to apply for NTSE Assam 2024.

  • Visit the official website, madhyamik.assam.gov.in

  • Download and print a copy of the NTSE Assam application form, and admit card.

  • Enter the required credentials in both forms.

  • Two coloured passport-sized photos must be attached on both forms

Documents Required

Below are the documents which need to be submitted along with the Application form.

  • For SC, ST, and PH - Copy of caste, reservation, category, and disability certificates. Those who fail to do so must be categorized under the general category.

  • For OBC Candidates - Other Backward Class applicants are required to send a copy of their caste certificate attached with the application. But, their reservation will be applicable only if below-mentioned conditions are met.

    • Only ‘Non-creamy layer’ candidates will be able to avail the reservation. OBC candidates whose certificate mentions ‘Creamy Layer’ will not enjoy any reservation benefits.

    • One must locate and identify their caste/ community in the ‘Central List of OBCs’ by NCBC (National Council of Backward Classes.

NTSE Assam Admit Card 2024

Applicants can download the NTSE Assam stage 1 admit card from the official website. The stage 1 admit card will be released in November 2024. NTSE Assam admit card contains the details such as the candidate's name, information about the test centre, roll number, exam schedule, etc.

NTSE Assam Result 2024
