Madhya Pradesh NTSE Exam Pattern 2024

  • NTS examination is a two-level exam. SCERT conducts the Stage 1 exam at the state level whereas stage 2 is conducted by NCERT at a national level.

  • The NTSE exam pattern is the same for both stages.

  • NTSE question paper comprises two sections- MAT and SAT which can be attempted either in English or Hindi language.

  • Every correct answer is awarded 1 mark. There is no negative marking in NTSE 2024.

  • The time allotted to answer the complete paper is 240 minutes (120 minutes each for the MAT & SAT section).

  • MAT (Mental Ability Test)- As per NTSE syllabus, the questions are put up from analogies, classification, coding-decoding, pattern analysis, problem-solving, series, hidden figures etc. This section aims to test a candidate's ability to think, ability to view and analyze, ability to evaluate and reasoning skills.

  • SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test)- The objective of this section is to test the candidate’s general awareness, reading abilities and interpretation skills relating to different subjects.

Madhya Pradesh NTSE result 2024

SCERT Madhya Pradesh will release the NTSE MP result 2024 in February 2025 on the official website. The result will be released in the form of a merit list and candidates who appear for the NTSE stage 1 from the state can look for their name and roll number in the merit list. Those who qualify for NTSE stage 1 will appear for NTSE stage 2 to be conducted in June.
