Madhya Pradesh NTSE result 2020

SCERT Madhya Pradesh will release the NTSE MP result 2020 in the first week of March, 2020 on the official website. The result will be released in the form of merit list and candidates who appear for the NTSE stage 1 from the state can look for their name and roll number in the merit list. Those who qualify NTSE stage 1 will appear for NTSE stage 2 to be conducted in May 2020.

Madhya Pradesh NTSE Exam Pattern 2020

  • NTS examination is a two-level process. SCERT conducts the Stage 1 exam at the state level whereas stage 2 is conducted by NCERT at a national level.

  • The exam pattern is same for both the stages.

  • NTSE question paper comprises of two sections- MAT and SAT.

  • It can be attempted either in English or Hindi language.

  • Every correct answer is awarded 1mark.

  • There is no negative marking in NTSE 2020.

  • The time allotted to answer the complete paper is 240 minutes (120 minutes each for MAT & SAT section).

MAT (Mental Ability Test)- Questions are put up from analogies, classification, coding-decoding, pattern analysis, problem-solving, series, hidden figures etc. This section aims to test a candidates ability to think, ability to view and analyze, ability to evaluate and reasoning skills.

SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test)- The objective of this section is to test the candidate’s general awareness, reading abilities and interpretation skills relating to different subjects.

Though i have not given the exame but the expected cutoff for NTSE maharastra stage 1 is observed to be :

  1. General        167-175
  2. OBC              156-165
  3. SC                 140-150
  4. ST                  126-135

some of the states has already published the answer key , andhra pradesh, gujrat, haryana , puducherry has already published the keys. ntse stage 2 exam will happen on the month of may 2020, so answer keys will be released before the second stage and you may expect it with in the month of february. however follow official website as well as careers360 website to get upcoming details.


My son is currently in grade 9. Will move on to 10th next year i.e. 2020-21. When can he attempt for NTSE ?

ncert in general releases the ntse exam for on the month august .

ntse stage 1 exams was held on on the month of November this year.exams date can be different for different states. the eligibility criteria is Students who are studying in Class 10 from  any recognized school,  students under Open & Distance Learning education board  are also eligible to appear in Stage 1 of NTSE exam.


what will be ntse stage-1cutoff for Karnataka
