NTSE Delhi 2020 – Students studying in Class 10 can now apply for NTSE Delhi Exam. Directorate of Education, Delhi has released the Delhi NTSE Application form online on edudel.nic.in. The last date to submit the NTSE Delhi 2020 forms is September 5, 2019. There is no application fee required for NTSE Exam. Students have to download the forms and submit the filled NTSE Delhi application form cum admit card should be submitted to Head of the Schools. The NTSE Delhi Stage I 2020 will be held in offline mode on November 17, 2019.
NTSE 2020 is a two-stage scholarship exam. Stage 1 is a state-level exam while Stage 2 is a national level examination, to be held on May 10, 2020. All aspirants must read the NTSE eligibility criteria of the Stage 1 exam with utmost care. Not satisfying any of the given eligibility terms may lead to the cancellation of NTSE forms without any prior intimation.
Candidates enrolled in class 10th in the current academic year 2019-20 are eligible for NTSE Delhi 2020.
Candidates must have passed the 9th class from a Govt., Govt. Aided and Unaided recognized Pvt. schools including KVS, JNV, NDMC, etc.
Students must have secured 60% marks in class IX (55% marks for SC/ST Categories) in the session 2018-19.
There is no minimum income limit required.
The Directorate of Education, Delhi has released the NTSE Delhi application form on August 20, 2019 on the official website edudel.nic.in. Candidates have to fill their basic and academic details in the NTSE application form. Below are the steps to submit the NTSE Delhi application forms offline-
Visit the official website of Directorate of Education, Delhi, www.edudel.nic.in to download the application form.
Fill the details in the application form and paste photograph
Get the NTSE Delhi application form signed by the Head/Principal of the Institute.
Now, submit the completely filled application form at their respective schools.
Also, apply for other Pre-Matric & Post-Matric Scholarships through National Scholarship Portal
The question paper contains two sections, Mental Ability Test (MAT) & Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).
There will be a total of 200 MCQs
Each question carries 1 mark.
SAT paper contains questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, History, Geography, Civics & Economics.
There will be no negative deduction for an incorrect response.

There is no prescribed syllabus for NTSE Delhi Exam. However, as per the NCERT norm, students should prepare their Class 9th & 10th syllabus for NTSE Preparation. The question will be asked form Mathematics, Science & Social Studies. NTSE Syllabus for Stage 1 & stage 2 remains the same but there will be an enhancement in the difficulty level.
The Directorate of Education will upload the NTSE Delhi admit card 2020 online on its main website. Students will be able to download the NTSE Hall ticket from the third week of October 2019. Candidates should bring the stage 1 admit card while appearing in the test, else they won’t be able to appear in Delhi NTSE 2020 Exam. The admit card will contain the candidates and examination details such as exam venue, date & time.
The exam conducting authority will release the previous year’s Delhi NTSE Question Papers for student’s help. Candidates can treat these papers as NTSE Sample papers and solve them to know the pattern and important topics of the exam. Solving the NTSE question papers in the stipulated time will help learn time management too. This practice increases your chances to score well in the examination.
The Directorate of Education, Delhi will release the official NTSE Delhi answer key a few weeks after the exam date. Before the official release, NTSE 2020 answer key will also be published by a few coaching institutes in the online mode on the day of the exam. Candidates can find the correct answers to each question asked in the NTSE 2020 question paper. Students can also use the NTSE Delhi Answer key to calculate an estimate of their scores for in the exam.
DoE, Delhi will declare the Delhi NTSE result in the month of February 2020. The result will be uploaded on the official website in the form of a pdf file. The result has been released in the online mode on the official website in the form of a merit list of shortlisted candidates. The NTSE result contains MAT, SAT and overall scores of selected candidates. Selected candidates will be eligible to appear for Stage 2 exam, to be conducted by NCERT on May 10, 2020. The exam pattern and syllabus for Stage II will be decided by the NCERT. Besides, NCERT is also responsible for declaring the NTSE Stage 2 result.
Along with the result, NTSE Delhi cutoff will also be issued online. Candidates have to attain the given cut off marks to qualify the NTSE exam. Only candidates who achieve the NTSE cutoff score are listed in the final result file.

If you are in class 10 at present in 2019-20 session, than you have lost the chance. The application form was available in month of august or september. The exam will be in month of november.
