NTSE Delhi 2020 – Directorate of Education has released the Delhi NTSE answer key 2020 for stage 1 on November 19, 2020. Students can check the rights answers in the NTSE Delhi answer key and send objection till November 22, 2019, if required. NTSE Delhi 2020 Stage I exam was held in offline mode on November 17, 2019. The admit cards for stage 1 were released on November 1, 2019 in offline mode. Students can collect their roll numbers from respective school authority. The application form for NTSE Delhi 2020 exam was released on August 20, 2019 on edudel.nic.in. The last date to submit the NTSE Delhi 2020 forms was September 5, 2019. There was no application fee required for NTSE Exam. Students had to download the forms and submit the filled NTSE Delhi application form cum admit card to Head of the Schools. NTSE 2020 is a two-stage scholarship exam. Stage 1 is a state-level exam while Stage 2 is a national level examination, to be held on May 10, 2020. NTSE Delhi Answer Key 2020

The Directorate of Education, Delhi has released the official NTSE Delhi answer key a few weeks after the exam date. Before the official release, NTSE 2020 answer key will also be published by a few coaching institutes in the online mode on the day of the exam. Candidates can find the correct answers to each question asked in the NTSE 2020 question paper. Students can also use the NTSE Delhi Answer key to calculate an estimate of their scores for in the exam.

NTSE Delhi 2020 Question Paper Analysis by FIITJEE

  • The question paper consisted of 2 sections; viz Mental Ability (MAT) having 100 questions & Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) having 100 questions.
  • The total number of questions was 200, each question carried 1 mark.
  • It was a 4-hour paper, scheduled between 10 am and 2 pm.

Section-wise Analysis
MAT- This section was easy but in some questions, there was certain error and therefore bonus marks could be awarded. For question number 30, 36, 86, 94.


  • In Mathematics, questions were equally from class 9th & 10th. The questions were either moderate or difficult & lengthy in nature.
  • In Physics, all questions were easy to moderate and could be solved with the application of the concept properly.
  • In biology, almost all questions were from Class 10th and were moderately difficult. Those, who referred NCERT books only could have faced some difficulty whereas those who referred to extra books could have solved the questions easily.
  • In Chemistry, almost all questions were from Class 10th and were either easy or moderate.
  • In Social Science, questions were easy and more questions were asked from Class 10th than 9th. Question 195, was an ambiguous overall level of the paper that could be claimed as easy.

NTSE Delhi Result 2020

DoE, Delhi will declare the Delhi NTSE 2020 result in the month of February 2020. The result will be uploaded on the official website in the form of a pdf file. The result has been released in the online mode on the official website in the form of a merit list of shortlisted candidates. The NTSE result contains MAT, SAT and overall scores of selected candidates. Selected candidates will be eligible to appear for Stage 2 exam, to be conducted by NCERT on May 10, 2020. The exam pattern and syllabus for Stage II will be decided by the NCERT. Besides, NCERT is also responsible for declaring the NTSE Stage 2 result.

NTSE Delhi Cutoff 2020

Along with the result, NTSE Delhi cutoff will also be issued online. Candidates have to attain the given cut off marks to qualify the NTSE exam. Only candidates who achieve the NTSE cutoff score are listed in the final result file.

The overall NTSE Delhi cut-off by FIITJEE is expected to be around 180.

NTSE Delhi Admit Card 2020

  • The Directorate of Education will release the NTSE Delhi admit card 2020 in offline mode.
  • Schools can collect the Delhi NTSE admit cards from the Science branch of the Department on behalf of their students.
  • Students can get their NTSE Hall ticket after November 1, 2019 from respective school Authority.
  • They should Carry the stage 1 admit card while appearing in the test, else they won’t be able to appear in Delhi NTSE 2020 Exam.
  • NTSE Delhi admit card 2020 will contain the candidates and examination details such as exam venue, date & time.

NTSE Delhi 2020 Eligibility Criteria

All aspirants must read the NTSE eligibility criteria of the Stage 1 exam with utmost care. Not satisfying any of the given eligibility terms may lead to the cancellation of NTSE forms without any prior intimation.

  • Candidates enrolled in class 10th in the current academic year 2019-20 are eligible for NTSE Delhi 2020.

  • Candidates must have passed the 9th class from a Govt., Govt. Aided and Unaided recognized Pvt. schools including KVS, JNV, NDMC, etc.

  • Students must have secured 60% marks in class IX (55% marks for SC/ST Categories) in the session 2018-19.

  • There is no minimum income limit required.

NTSE Delhi 2020 Application Form

The Directorate of Education, Delhi was released the NTSE Delhi application form on August 20, 2019 on the official website edudel.nic.in. Candidates had to fill their basic and academic details in the NTSE application form. Below are the steps to submit the NTSE Delhi application forms offline-

  • Visit the official website of Directorate of Education, Delhi, www.edudel.nic.in to download the application form.

  • Fill the details in the application form and paste photograph

  • Get the NTSE Delhi application form signed by the Head/Principal of the Institute.

  • Now, submit the completely filled application form at their respective schools.

NTSE Delhi 2020 Exam Pattern

  • The question paper contains two sections, Mental Ability Test (MAT) & Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).

  • There will be a total of 200 MCQs

  • Each question carries 1 mark.

  • SAT paper contains questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, History, Geography, Civics & Economics.

  • There will be no negative deduction for an incorrect response.

NTSE Delhi 2020 Syllabus

There is no prescribed syllabus for NTSE Delhi Exam. However, as per the NCERT norm, students should prepare their Class 9th & 10th syllabus for NTSE Preparation. The question will be asked form Mathematics, Science & Social Studies. NTSE Syllabus for Stage 1 & stage 2 remains the same but there will be an enhancement in the difficulty level.

Result for NTSE Kerala stage-1 is scheduled to be declared in the second week of February. SCERT (State Council of Educational Research and Training) has released the merit list of candidates who are qualified for stage-2.

The NTSE result of kerala was supposed to published during the second week of february but it wasn't.
its not the case of your satte alone there are many other states whose result are still pending.
Ill attach a link here where you can find the cutoffs of all the states and ill even provide a link of expected marks in terms of previous year analysis.
