CBSE Class 10 Exam 2026: New Pattern
The CBSE introduced a new examination pattern for 10th Standard students, which will be applicable from the academic session 2025-26. It has now created a system where students get two chances to appear for the board examination in one year.
By choice, the students can appear for either of the two exams or go for both examinations; in the latter case, the candidate who scored best in each subject would be the highest scoring option. Thus, the option is offered to reduce stress and allow improvement if needed. The full syllabus shall be followed for both exams, while the paper pattern is to remain unchanged. For this reason, serious preparation is required for February, with May serving as a second chance.
