The Central Board of Secondary Education prescribes the CBSE Class 10 age limit requirements for students appearing for the board exam. Those who are appearing for the CBSE 10th board examination do not have any maximum age limit, although students need to follow the admission guidelines.   • He/she must have passed the Class 9 examination from a school recognised or affiliated by the CBSE board or any other recognised board.

  • He/she must be studying in class 10 in a school affiliated with CBSE.

  • There is no age limit to appear for the CBSE 10th exam. But at the time of admission, a student will have to fulfil the maximum and minimum age limits as determined by the government of the state/UT of the place where the school is located.

  • He/she must have obtained 75 per cent attendance in class 10 during the respective academic year.

  • The student must have submitted the examination form with the requisite fee before the deadline.

  • Only those applications that are accepted by the board will be allowed to sit for the CBSE Class 10 exams.
