• The Chhattisgarh application form for class 10 and 12 students is made available offline. To fill out the CGBSE application form 2026, students need to connect with their respective schools only.
• Students need to fill in all important details in the application form and attach passport-size photos along with the other required documents. The CGBSE application fees need to be submitted through schools only.

Functions of the CGBSE Board

The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education conducts various exams for High school and higher secondary students, including diploma examinations in elementary education and physical education. Students can appear for these exams in regular, self-study, or vocational mode. The board advised the government to propose a curriculum related to instruction and to prepare textbooks for CGBSE exams. CGBSE 2026 Exam Curriculum

The CG Board timetable for classes 10 and 12 was released on November 21, 2025. The CGBSE 10th time table and CGBSE 12th time table are made available on the official website. CGBSE conducted the Class 10 exams from February 21 to March 13, 2026, and Class 12 exams are being held from February 20 to March 18, 2026. The table below mentions the exam dates. CGBSE 10th and 12th Syllabus for 2025-26

• The CG board 2025-6 syllabus for classes 10 and 12 is published on the board’s official website. Students can download the CGBSE syllabus through cgbse.nic.in. CGBSE 10th syllabus comprises six subjects: Maths, Science, English, Hindi, and Social Science.
• The official CGBSE 12th syllabus is available for Science, Commerce, and Arts streams. The subjects included in the Chhattisgarh board 12th syllabus are Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, History, Geography, Economics, and English, among others.

Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education 2026 - Exam Pattern

The CGBSE exam pattern will let students know about the total number of questions, exam duration, marks segregation and total marks of the exam. It is quite helpful to know the CGBSE exam pattern for preparing well for the exam.

• The CGBSE class 10 and 12 exams are conducted for a total of 100 marks.

• In the class 10 exams, the theory paper is held for 75 marks, whereas 25 marks are allotted for project work.

• In the class 12 exams, the total marks for the theory exam are 70 and 30 marks are given for practical or project work.

• The exam duration is 3 hours for both the class 10 and 12 exams.

• The CGBSE 12th question papers are available for all the subjects of the Science, Commerce, and Arts streams.
