CBSE Class 12 Exam Analysis 2026 - The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is conducting the CBSE 12th exams from February 17 to April 10, 2026. CBSE 12th Subject-wise Exam Analysis 2026

The CBSE class 12 exams are being held from February 17 to April 10, 2026. The exam analysis for the Class 12 board exams 2026 is being updated here as soon as the respective exam is completed. CBSE Class 12 Accountancy Exam Analysis 2026

According to Rajan Dutta, PGT Accountancy, Silverline Prestige School, "The recently concluded CBSE Class 12 Accounts board exam was moderate in difficulty, according to feedback from students and teachers. The paper was aligned with the syllabus and topics covered during the academic session.

  • The question paper had a balanced mix of theoretical and practical questions.
  • Most questions were based on the prescribed textbook and topics emphasised by teachers.
  • Case-based and application-oriented questions required students to apply concepts, not just recall them.
  • Numerical problems were generally straightforward, with some requiring careful working."

CBSE Class 12 Physics Exam Analysis 2026

According to Priya Roy, PGT – Physics, Modern English School, Kahilipara, Guwahati, Assam, “The CBSE Class 12 Physics examination was well-balanced and largely moderate in difficulty, aligning with the expected application-based pattern. The MCQs were moderate, with a few being direct and others based on application and analysis, aimed at testing students’ analytical understanding. The assertion and reason-based questions were moderate and based on conceptual clarity, which will help students score well. The two-mark questions included direct questions from Semiconductor Electronics and Nuclei, while others consisted of numerical evaluations of students’ conceptual understanding and problem-solving abilities.

The three-mark questions were moderate and manageable, with 6–7 marks allotted to numerical, allowing students to apply concepts with clarity. Case-based questions were moderately application-oriented and analytical. The five-mark questions also maintained a moderate level, focusing on analytical and application-based thinking, with around 6 marks dedicated to numerical. Overall, the paper reflected a fair distribution of questions, with approximately 25–30 marks comprising direct questions and the rest involving arithmetic and numerical components, comfortably within a moderate range.”

CBSE Class 12 Physical Education Analysis 2026

According to Sudhir Kumar (HOD), PGT Physical Education, Silverline Prestige School, "the CBSE Physical Education (048) examination was conducted on 18th February 2026. The 3-hour theory paper carried 70 marks and included internal choices in various sections. The question paper featured a balanced combination of competency-based and moderate-level questions, effectively assessing students’ understanding and application of concepts.

Overall, the paper was of average difficulty level and closely aligned with the CBSE sample papers and prescribed syllabus. Direct questions were clear and scoring, while some MCQs were tricky, simple, and manageable. Students were able to complete the paper within the allotted time and expressed satisfaction with their performance."
