How to do Registration in CBSE Class 9 and 11?

The registration process for CBSE Classes 9 and 11 is primarily handled by the school. It's not a process that individual students undertake directly. While students don't directly register, they should cooperate with the school by providing accurate information when required. Here's a process of how it works:

  1. School Affiliation: The school needs to be affiliated with the CBSE board to be eligible to register students.

  2. Data Collection: The school collects necessary information from students, including personal details, subjects chosen, and any required documents.

  3. Online Registration: The school accesses the CBSE Pariksha Sangam portal to input student data.

  4. Fee Payment: Schools usually collect registration fees from students and make a bulk payment to the CBSE.

  5. Verification and Submission: The school verifies the entered data and submits the registration form.

CBSE Registration 2025 Process- Important Instructions

The CBSE registration process is the communication of students' personal information to their parents, allowing for immediate rectification of any inaccuracies in the student's details. This proactive measure aids in preventing potential issues in the future. Check the procedure for online CBSE registration 2025 of students in Class IX/XI

  • Schools are required to input the number of sections and students, which must align with the information provided in OASIS. This information must be entered accurately, as schools will not have the opportunity to modify the declared sections or student numbers thereafter.

  • Schools with a limited number of students in class IX/XI may enter the details directly on the website through individual entry.

  • For bulk entries, schools have the option to download an Excel file by selecting the 'Download Excel File' option. It is important to keep the following considerations in mind while filling out the data in the Excel file.

  • Educational institutions are required to print the list of students by selecting the "Checklist Printing of Registered Students" option.

  • The title of this list will read 'CHECKLIST OF STUDENTS REGISTERED FOR CLASS...'

  • The information contained in the list should be verified against the Original Admission and Withdrawal register. It is essential to check both the Subject Code and Subject Name associated with each student.

  • After noting all corrections, including any spelling errors, these amendments must be made online by selecting the "Correction of Registered List of Students" option.

CBSE Registration Correction Process of Registered List of Students:

This process includes three options: ADD, MODIFY, and DELETE.

  • ADD: Information regarding any omitted or new students can be entered.

  • MODIFY: Any corrections to the previously submitted student details can be updated. By entering the Record No. associated with the student's information, the details will be displayed on the screen, allowing for necessary updates or corrections to be made.

  • DELETE: Previously submitted student information can be entirely removed from the list by entering the Record No. corresponding to the details to be deleted. The student's information will be shown on the screen before deletion. Once deleted, the information cannot be recovered and must be re-entered using the ADD option if needed again.

Note: The options "Checklist Printing of Registered Students" and "Correction of Registered List of Students" may be utilized multiple times until the list is free of errors.

CBSE Registration Process 2025: Finalisation

Once all corrections, including any spelling errors in the names of candidates, mothers, or fathers, have been completed and the list is free of errors, the data must be finalised. Finalisation of data indicates that no further corrections, deletions, or modifications will be permitted, signifying that the submitted data is considered final. Following the finalization of the initial batch of data (Excel file), it remains possible to add more students in subsequent batches through individual online entries, provided that the submission date falls within the designated timeline and the maximum number of students for the new batch has not been exceeded.

CBSE Registration Process 2025: Fees Details

The applicable fees will be determined according to the fee schedule for that period. A school is allowed to add and finalize students in a maximum of five batches (one batch for Excel upload and four batches for individual online entries). After the data has been finalized, the necessary fees must be paid electronically using the available payment methods. Visually impaired students are exempted from fee payment.
