CBSE LOC 2025-26: The Central Board of Secondary Education started the CBSE LOC submission for Classes 10 and 12 from August 29, 2025. Schools can submit the LOC without late fees till September 30, 2025. The board has a mandatory process for schools to submit the List of Candidates (LOC). The schools need to submit their students' LOC registration before the closing date. The CBSE online LOC will allow students to appear for the board examinations for the academic year 2025-26.

West Bengal Board Madhyamik exams 2026 will be held from February 2 to February 12, 2026. WBBSE will begin the Class 10 exams with First Language papers, followed by Second Language, History, and concluding with Optional Elective subjects.
What is the full form of LOC in CBSE?
The objective of the LOC (List of Candidates) prepared by CBSE is to get a list of basic details of all the students, prepared by the schools. It includes the demographic data and subject combinations that have been selected by the students
The Central Board of Secondary Education started the CBSE LOC online submission on August 29, 2025. The last date to submit the CBSE LOC is September 30, 2025. The board will approve and conduct the exam for those students whose names are submitted through the CBSE online LOC portal. Schools must do the LOC online registration and submission through the CBSE’s Pariksha Sangam Portal at cbse.gov.in.
The schools must collect the List of Candidates (LOC) for class 10 (first exam) and 12th (main exam) 2025-26 and submit it to the board before the last date. Below, we have provided the CBSE schedule for LOC.

The LOC fee will be accepted in online mode only. The board will collect the CBSE examination fee twice for both exams at the time of filling the LOC for the first time. Refer to the CBSE LOC fee details 2025-26 given below.

From the academic year 2025-26, the board will conduct the CBSE 10th exam twice a year. For the CBSE 2nd phase examination, the board will open the window for LOC for 5 days after the declaration of the first phase result. Below, we have explained all the actions that the schools must take in this regard.

Part 2: Preparatory action to be taken by the school
Schools must be ready with students' information, such as the candidate's name, father's name, guardian's name, date of birth, APAAR ID, correct subject code and combination, and category applying in (i.e., FS/improvement/compartment)
Part 3: Eligibility criteria of candidates for the LOC
Schools must ensure that candidates are eligible for the LOC.
Part 4: Action to be taken while filling LOC
Schools have to register themselves and enter the information on the OASIS portal regarding student details, teacher information, statutory compliance certificates, etc.
Once the schools register, they need to submit the student data on the HPE portal. The registration number will be generated. Schools need to keep that safe for the LOC submission time.
They can now submit the CBSE list of candidates.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Schools can use their 'Affiliation Number' as their User ID and proceed with LOC submission through the online portal.
Schools should not ask for ITR/other income proof from parents for CBSE LOC and other activities. But, annual income information may be collected as given by them.
After submitting the LOC to CBSE, no corrections can be made. Once the CBSE exam result is announced, students can apply for corrections in CBSE records.
