The syllabus of class 11 CBSE 2024-25 Chemistry is divided into units and chapters that are a part of the latest curriculum. For the current academic year 2024-25, there has been no reduction in the CBSE 11th Chemistry syllabus. The final board exam will be conducted with the complete syllabus. Alkenes - Nomenclature, structure of double bond (ethene), geometrical isomerism, physical properties, methods of preparation, chemical reactions: addition of hydrogen, halogen, water, hydrogen halides (Markovnikov's addition and peroxide effect), ozonolysis, oxidation, mechanism of electrophilic addition.
