NIOS Exam Fees 2026 for Class 10 & 12- The National Institute of Open Schooling has extended the dates to pay the exam fee for the October/November 2026 exam session. With a late fee of Rs 1600, students can pay the NIOS exam fee 2026 from August 4 to 10, 2026. During the registration process, the students must pay the application fees to submit the form. Students can pay the fee through the official website of NIOS at sdmis.nios.ac.in, and the fee payment window is the same for classes 10th and 12th. Without a late fee, students were able to pay the application fees for the NIOS exam 2026 Oct/Nov session from May 21 to June 20, 2026. After the payment, students are advised to download their NIOS exam fee receipt from the online portal. The NIOS exam fees can be paid via credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI. The NIOS admission fee is paid while applying for admission. It is payable only for a single time.
Paying NIOS admission fees does not mean that the student can appear for exams.
After confirmation of admission, he/she will have to pay NIOS exam fees separately whenever he or she wishes to appear for exams.
Students are required to pay Rs. 300 as NIOS exam fees for each theory subject, and an additional Rs. 150 per practical. The NIOS date sheet will be published on the official website. Students who have enrolled with NIOS for the 12th and 10th classes must log in to select their subjects and make payment for the NIOS board exam fees 2026.
