NIOS 10th Exam Timings
- Students need to reach the examination hall at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
- On the exam day, students will receive an extra 15 minutes for reading from 2:15 pm to 2:30 pm before the start of the exam. This additional reading time is provided for the students so that they can carefully examine the question paper without writing any answers during this period.
- The NIOS exam will be held from 2:15 pm to 5:30 pm.
NIOS Admission Dates 2026
Students applying for NIOS admission must fill out the NIOS registration form 2026. They must stay updated with the dates and submit the form before the last date. The last date to submit the NIOS application form for the April session was September 15, while for the October session, students can apply till March 15.
NIOS Exam Fees Payment Dates

NIOS Exam Dates 2026 for On-Demand Exams
The NIOS board provides an on-demand exam facility, allowing students to take their exams whenever they want.
- The admissions for NIOS on-demand exams are held all year round.
- There are ODE exams every month except April, May, October, and November, which are public examination months.
- To take the ODE, students must register online and select the NIOS exam dates that work best for them.
- According to the NIOS timetable 2026, results for on-demand tests will be published 45 days after the examination.
