About IEO 2025
IEO 2025-26: SOF IEO exams are conducted in two levels. SOF IEO Level 1 is conducted for classes 1 to 12. Students can only register through their schools. SOF accepts no individual registration. Students who qualify for the level 1 can write the level 2 exam.
- The Science Olympiad Foundation conducted the SOF IEO exam (Set A) for level 1 on September 26, 2025. The Set B and Set C exams were held on November 11 and November 26, 2025.
- The exams are held in offline mode.
- The SOF released the IEO answer key 2025-26 for Set A, Set B, and Set on November 3, December 16, and December 22, 2025, respectively.
- The SOF IEO cut-off scores have been released on January 2, 2026, on the official website.
- The foundation declared the IEO result 2025-26 on January 2, 2026.
- Students can visit the official website at sofworld.org to access and download the IEO results 2025-26.
- Students can collect the SOF IEO admit cards from their respective schools.
The following students will progress to level 2:
- The SOF IEO level 2 exam will be conducted on February 8, 2026, for all regions except Maharashtra, and on February 15, 2026, for Maharashtra only.
- The IEO results for level 2 will be announced in March 2026.
- Class-wise top 5% of candidates, who appear in the 1st level exam. If there is a tie in marks, weightage will be given to the marks scored in different sections.
- Top 25 rank holders class-wise & zone-wise.
- Class toppers were at least 10 students from a class who appeared in the exam & scored 50% qualifying marks. If the registration is received section-wise, the top-rank holder will qualify for the 2nd level, irrespective of the section.

- SOF released the SOF IEO 2025-26 cutoff on its official website on January 2, 2026.
- IEO cutoff 2025-26 is released for Classes 3-12. Students who will be able to qualify will appear in the second level of the IEO exam 2025-26.
- Students can refer to the cutoff and match their scores to know if they will be able to qualify for the SOF IEO 2025-26 exam.
- In the event of multiple students achieving the same total marks, their section-wise scores will be taken into consideration to determine qualifiers for the second level.

To appear in SOF IEO 2025-26, students have to fulfil the following eligibility criteria:
- A student must be enrolled in a school registered with SOF.
- A student must be in or between classes 1 to 12 to be eligible for IEO 2025-26.
- A student must have submitted the filled application form along with the due fees.
- Students need to enroll in a school to be eligible for the International English Olympiad 2025-26.
- Students cannot apply and appear in the Olympiad individually.
- School students have to take the IEO application form 2025-26 from their school's Principal, Vice-Principal or Teacher In-charge.
- They must pay INR 125 as registration fee.
- They are required to fill out the complete form and submit it to the school authorities along with the due fees.

To prepare for the SOF International English Olympiad 2025-26, students are advised to devote time to each section and practice as much as they can. Here are some preparation tips for SOF IEO 2025-26:
- Practice reading: In the reading comprehension section, candidates will have to spend quite a while reading large passages and answering questions. To have an edge over others, practice reading and comprehension from early on.

The Science Olympiad Foundation released the SOF IEO admit card for level 1 in August 2025. Candidates can visit the official website at sofworld.org to download the admit cards. The SOF IEO admit cards for level 1 were made available in schools by the school authorities. The foundation will release SOF IEO level 2 admit cards in February 2025. The SOF IEO admit card includes important details, such as name, enrollment number and exam schedule, among others. Students must carry their admit card; otherwise, they won’t be allowed to sit for the SOF IEO exam 2025-26.
Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) released the IEO answer keys for Classes 1 to 12 Set A on November 3, 2025.
