NSTSE Syllabus 2020 - Unified Council provides the syllabus of NSTSE 2020 for class 1st to 12th. Students should be aware of the complete NSTSE syllabus of their class to qualify the examination. The questions will be asked from two sections for class 1 and 2, three sections for class 3 to 5, five sections for class 6 to 10 and four sections for class 11 and 12. The NSTSE 2020 syllabus will follow 85% of the CBSE curriculum and is also suitable for students from ICSE and state boards. From class 3 to 12, there will be a section of Critical Thinking, the goal for which is to test candidates in Logical & Inductive Reasoning, Tactics & Strategies in decision making, Subjective & Objective analysis. NSTSE syllabus 2020 provides details of important topics and sections that one must prepare for the exam. NSTSE 2020 will be held on December 4, 2019 for students appearing from schools and on December 15, 2019 for individual students. Unified Council follows the NSTSE syllabus to make the question paper. To have better clarity of subjects and topics, students can also solve the sample papers of NSTSE 2020.

Note- Class 11th & 12th Science students can apply for KVPY 2019 scholarships while Class 10th students can apply for NTSE 2020 Scholarships as well.

NSTSE Syllabus 2020 for class 1

There will be 40 questions for class 1. Syllabus of NSTSE and marks distribution for class 1 are as given below:

NSTSE Syllabus 2020 for class 6 to 10

There will be 60 questions for 60 marks asked from 5 subjects for students from class 6 to 10. Students studying in class 10 should follow the CBSE Class 10th syllabus for better preparation. NSTSE 2020 Syllabus and marks distribution for this group is as follow-

How to Prepare for NSTSE 2020?

Follow the simple tips for improving your performance in NSTSE 2020 exam-

  1. Cover the entire NSTSE syllabus that includes the CBSE syllabus of respective class.
  2. Read daily newspaper, magazines or journals that you find interesting in order to stay updated with the latest trends and information.
  3. Clear your basic concepts and follow textbooks.
  4. Watch informative channels such as National Geographic, Animal Planet, Discovery, etc.
  5. Take part in quiz programmes on a regular basis.

NSTSE Selection Process

Students should qualify the objective-type test with 100% marks or obtain the highest marks to get selected for the scholarship amount.

  • NSTSE 2020 focuses on measuring how well students have imbibed the skills and concepts underlying the school syllabus.
  • This exam helps teachers and parents to know the strengths and weaknesses of an individual student and also entire classes.
  • Unified council follows CBSE syllabus but NSTSE question papers. However, the papers are also suitable for other board students such as ICSE/ ISC and State Board/Matriculation.

when we can register for NSTSE

Hi Pushpinder,

NSTSE 2020 applications have been started and parents or candidates can apply online on the official website: https://www.unifiedcouncil.com/ .After registration, they will have to pay the requisite fee in online mode. The last date for registration is October 5, 2019.

when will be exam of 9 class ?

Gurnaj, NSTSE exam is held in the month of December. For session 2019-2020, the exam has already been conducted for classes 2 to 12 in offline mode on 4th and 15th December 2019.

Although if you are asking for the academic session 2020-21, the notice has not been released yet. The registration starts tentatively in the month of June. You can visit their official website: https://www.unifiedcouncil.com/index.html during May- June 2020 to know about the exact dates.

When will the exam being conducted

Neeraj, the NSTSE 2020 exam was already conducted in December 2019 and the results have been declared too. There is no official information yet regarding the schedule for 2021. The ntse has declared result for stage II (2019) . You can check the result at the link http://www.ncert.nic.in/programmes/talent_exam/pdf_files/NTSEResult2019.pdf

For State Level NTS Examination Enquiry you need to Contact the Liaison Officer of your State.

So you should contact the liaison officer of your state to get the  state level result.

The final NSTSE answer key will be released on December 31, 2019. The results of NSTSE will be available on third week of January 2020.And also your results can be checked in the official website of NSTSE 2020.For more details once visit the below link.,
