Students should check the eligibility criteria carefully before filling the Inspire Scholarship application form 2020. The eligibility of students to Inspire scholarship will be based on the following factors-
Student’s age must be between 17-22 years.
The students must be already enrolled in a regular degree course (No correspondence course) in Basic sciences.
Performance of students in the Class XII Board Examinations within the cut-off marks provided by authorities for State or Central Board Examination in the year 2020.
Performance of students in any of the below given competitive examinations within stipulated cut off ranks.

NEET for Medical: Top 10,000 Rank as per Common Merit List(CML)
Recipient of various scholarships and medals such as All Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna (KVPY) Fellows, National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) Scholars, International Olympiad Medalists, and Jagadis Bose National Science Talent Search (JBNSTS)Scholars.

Step 1 - Visit the website online-inspire.gov.in
Step 2 - In the ‘sign in’ option click on ‘New registration’ option.
Step 3 - A new page for Inspire Scholarship application form 2020 will be displayed on your screens. Fill all the requisite details.
Step 4 - Enter the captcha and click on the submit button.
Step 5 - Your user id and password along with an activation link will be sent to your registered email id. Click on the link to activate your account.

Step 10 - Log in again using your user ID and password. Click on the scholarship link and fill the required fields one by one by clicking the edit button. At last click on the submit button.

Each eligible student will receive a scholarship amount of Rs. 80,000/- annually.
The cash payable to the scholarship holder will be Rs. 60,000/- per annum along with a summertime attachment fee of Rs. 20,000/- which will be paid only to those students who undertake summer time research project.
Selected students will receive the scholarship for the maximum period of five years starting from 1st-year course in B.Sc./ B.Sc.(Hons)/BS and integrated course of M.S. or M.Sc. or till the completion of the course, whichever is earlier.
The continuation of the scholarship will entirely depend upon the performance of students during their course.
Scope of subjects under Inspire Scholarship
In order to renew the application form of Inspire scholarship, students have to renew the scholarship through the link available on the official website. There are certain criteria that will be considered while renewing the Inspire Scholarship application form 2020.

It is necessary to score a minimum of 60% marks or 7.0 CGPA in the examination.
