• As of the 2017 census, Punjab had 272 to 928 schools per district; overall figures suggest several thousand statewide in India.

• Around 2.8 lakh students appeared in the PSEB Class 12 exam in 2025, with a similar number in the Punjab Board Class 10 (2,77,746 )

• In the year 2025, a total of 2,77,746 students appeared for the Punjab Board 10 examination, with an overall pass percentage of 95.61%. Girls outperformed boys, achieving a pass rate of 96.85% compared to 94.50% for boys. Additionally, PSEB 12th results 2025, the overall pass percentage was 91% among 265,388 total students.
