How to Fill the SHRESHTA NETS Registration Form 2026?

Step 1: SHRESHTA Registration

• Visit the official website of SHRESHTA NETS 2026, exams.nta.nic.in/shreshta/.
• Click on the “New Candidate Register Here”
• Read all the instructions on the page displayed
• Click the “Click here to proceed” button, accepting the “I have downloaded” check box.
• Fill out all the asked information without any errors, upload the required documents, create a password, enter the captcha and click the submit button.
• After completion of Registration, an application number will be sent to your registered Mobile number and email address.

Step 2: Filling up the SHRESHTA Application Form 2026

• Fill out the application form by clicking on “Complete Application Form”
• Fill out the details in the application form.

Step 3: Document Uploading

• Upload all the required documents and click the Submit button”
• A full application form with all the entered information will be shown on the screen.
• Save and take a print and submit it to the student’s Cadre Controlling Authority/Parent Organisation for forwarding it to NTA along with the required documents and necessary certifications therein.

SHRESHTA NETS 2026 Syllabus & Exam Pattern

The SHRESHTA NETS 2026 syllabus comprises Mathematics, Science, Social Science and General Knowledge/Awareness subjects. The students appearing for the SHRESHTA NETS exam 2025 should study NCERT books, as NETS is based on the CBSE/NCERT syllabus. The SHRESHTA NETS 2026 has five subjects: Mathematics, Science, Social Science and General Awareness/Knowledge with a total of 100 questions overall, 4 marks for each question. SHRESHTA NETS 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The SHRESHTA NETS 2026 is conducted for admissions in classes 9th and 11th. Only the students who come under the SC category and whose parents' annual income is up to Rs 2.5 lac are eligible. Students should be studying in classes 8th and 10th in the current academic year (2025-26).
