Scheme for Residential Education for Students in High Schools in Targeted Areas (SHRESHTA) is a government-approved scheme to provide Class 9 and 11 admission for meritorious SC category students. Under this scheme, around 3000 students are selected for Class 9 and 11 admission into the best private residential schools, all over India.

The National Testing Agency released the SHRESHTA NETS 2024 application form on March 12, 2024, at the official website - exams.nta.ac.in/shreshta. The NETS information bulletin 2024 was made available on its official website. Applications are accepted in online mode. The last date for the submission of applications was April 4, 2024.

The SHRESHTA NETS application correction window was opened from April 6, 2024, to April 8, 2024 (up to 5 pm). Candidates can make changes to the application form by using the correction window in online mode. The National Testing Agency conducted the SHRESHTA NETS 2024 on May 11, 2024 in offline mode. Students can download the SHRESHTA NETS 2024 admit card using the student credentials from the official website, shreshta.ntaonline.in.

SHRESHTA NETS 2024 - Application form

The application form for SHRESHTA NETS 2024 is available in online mode. There is no offline application form available for SHRESHTA NETS 2024. The start date of the application form is March 12, 2024, and the end date is April 4, 2024 (up to 5 pm). Students should read all the instructions carefully before filling out the application form online.

• Scanned Photograph (JPG format with file size of 10 kb to 200 kb)

• Scanned Signature (JPG format with file size of 4 kb to 30 kb)

• Scanned Category / Caste certificate (PDF format with a file size of 50 kb to 300 kb)

• Scanned Income certificate (PDF format with file size of 50 kb to 300 kb)

• Two email IDs (one for registering and the other as an alternate email ID)

• Photo ID like an Aadhaar card / Passport / Ration Card with photograph / School ID

How to Fill SHRESHTA NETS Registration Form 2024

Step 1: SHRESHTA Registration

1. Visit the official website of SHRESHTA NETS 2024, shreshta.ntaonline.in.

2. Click on the “New Candidate Register Here”

3. Read all the instructions on the page displayed

4. Click the “Click here to proceed” button accepting the “I have downloaded” check box.

5. Fill out all the asked information without any errors, upload the required documents create a password, enter the captcha and click the submit button.

6. After completion of Registration, an application number will be sent to your registered Mobile number and email registered with.

Step 2: Filling up SHRESHTA Application Form 2024

7. Fill out the application form by clicking on “Complete Application Form”

8. Fill out the details in the application form.

Step 3: Documents Uploading

9. Upload all the required documents and click the Submit button”

10. A full application form with all the entered information will be shown on the screen.

11. Save and take a print and submit it to the student’s Cadre Controlling Authority/Parent Organization for forwarding it to NTA along with the required documents and necessary certifications therein.

SHRESHTA NETS 2024 Syllabus & Exam Pattern

The SHRESHTA NETS 2024 syllabus comprises Mathematics, Science, Social Science and General Knowledge/Awareness subjects. The students appearing for the SHRESHTA NETS exam 2024 should study NCERT books, as NETS is based on the CBSE/NCERT syllabus. The SHRESHTA NETS 2024 has five subjects Mathematics, Science, Social Science and General Awareness/Knowledge with a total of 100 questions overall, 4 marks for each question. SHRESHTA NETS 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The SHRESHTA NETS 2024 is conducted for admissions in classes 9th and 11th. Only the students who come under the SC category and whose parents' annual income is up to Rs.2.5 lac are eligible. Students should be studying in classes 8th and 10th in the current academic year (2023-24).
