Admission to KRCRSSG school is open for girls on an all-India basis. Here is an overview of the entrance examination and admission criteria:

• Candidates can attempt the entrance examination for admission to class 6 only once.

• Girls should be between 10 to 12 years old as of June 1 of the admission year.

• They must have passed Class 5 from a recognized school.

• Karnataka domicile girls, who have resided in Karnataka for five or more years, are eligible for the Government of Karnataka Merit Scholarship.

Entrance examination:

• The entrance examinations are conducted in January.

• A maximum of 300 marks are allotted, with the following sections:

  • A: General Mathematics (150 marks)

  • B: General Knowledge (50 marks)

  • C: English Language Proficiency Test (50 marks)

  • D: Intelligent Quotient / Mental Ability (50 marks)

• The total examination duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes.

• Passing the English Proficiency Test (Section C) is compulsory for qualification in the written examination.

• The medium of the examination is English/Kannada.

Examination Centers:

The entrance examinations are held at the following centres, and candidates can choose one according to their preference:

• Bengaluru

• Kalaburagi

• Kittur

• Vijayapura

Physical Fitness Test, Interview, and Medical Examinations:

• Candidates who qualify in the written examination must appear for the physical fitness test, interview, and medical examinations.

• Passing both the written exam and the interview separately is mandatory.

Documents Required for Admission

• Proof of age (choose one):

  • Transfer certificate duly countersigned by the BEO/DDPI if the girl has attended a recognized school previously.

  • Certificate extract from the Register of Births issued by the Registrar of Births and Deaths if the girl has not attended a recognized school.

  • Serving/retired service personnel should provide necessary Part-II orders or certificates from the CO, Record/Service headquarters with the date of birth of the girl as per the service records.

• Attested copy of discharge certificate for retired service personnel.

• Agreement to be executed by the parents with the school and state government if required.

• Affidavit and certificate of income as applicable.

• Affidavit and certificate of domicile from the tahsildar.

• Certificate of medical fitness.

• Caste certificate for SC/ST candidates from the prescribed authority.

• Original Aadhaar Card of the candidate.

• Photocopy of the PAN Card of the candidate

• Photocopy of the Bank Account Book
