About PM Yasasvi Scholarship 2026

The PM YASASVI Scheme is for Top Class Schools (TCSs) that have secured 100% pass percentage in Class 10 and 12 exams. The TCSs will be shortlisted by a committee chaired by the Joint Secretary (BC) in the Ministry, with representation from the Department of School Education and the NITI Aayog.

The OBC/EBC/DNT students studying in TCSs can apply on the NSP portal. The applications will be verified online by the Nodal Officers of the School, and later confirmed by the State Government. A state-wise merit list for each class (boys and girls separately) will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the final exam of the previous class, and allocation of the scholarships will be automatically done on merit.

How to Apply for PM YASASVI Scholarship Scheme 2026

Students have to register themselves on the National Scholarship Portal to apply for the PM YASASVI Scholarship. Below, we have provided a general instruction to apply for the PM YASASVI Scheme online:

• Visit the official website of the NSP, scholarships.gov.in.
• Login to the NSP account or create a new account if the candidate is not registered.
• Go to the "PM Yasasvi Central Sector Scheme of Top Class Education in Schools for OBC, EBC and DNT Students".
• Fill out the required details and documents and submit it.

Note: The application form will be verified by the Nodal officer of the school and confirmed by the state government online.

Conditions Required for PM YASASVI Scholarship 2026

• Students must have a bank account to apply for the PM YASASVI Scholarship.
• If required, the school must have an Aadhaar-based attendance system integrated into the central portal.
• Students who have applied for the PM YASASVI scholarship cannot receive the same benefits under other government schemes.

PM YASASVI Scheme 2026: Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must fall under one of the following categories: OBC/ EBC/ DNT.
• The annual income of the candidate's parents must not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh.
• Both male and female students are allowed to apply for this program.
• Students in classes 9 onwards till Class 12 are eligible to apply for the YASASVI scholarship program.
• Students must be enrolled in Top Class Schools.
• Public schools (Central/State/Local Body), aided schools, and private schools can qualify as TCSs.

PM Yasasvi Financial Assistance

With the assistance of PM Yasasvi, students hailing from disadvantaged backgrounds will be empowered, ensuring equal access to education and fostering a brighter future for the youth of India. The PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (PM-YASASVI) 2026 will be exclusively awarded based on merit, eliminating the need for an entrance exam. The PM Yasasvi Scholarship is available for students from Class 9 onwards till Class 12. Under this scholarship, students in Classes 9 to 10 will receive financial aid of Rs 75,000, while students in Classes 11 and 12 will receive financial aid of Rs 1,25,000.
