How to Register for SOF Olympiads?

Every year, lakhs of students participate in SOF Olympiads to compete at national and global levels, earn certificates, medals, scholarships and gain academic recognition.

Any school can register as an SOF examination centre at no cost. A minimum of 10 students must register from their school for the SOF Olympiads. Check the different methods for SOF registration.

For Schools Already Registered with SOF:

• Students will automatically receive a prospectus containing the necessary registration forms.

For New Schools (Not Yet Registered):

1. Request a Prospectus: Contact SOF by emailing info@sofworld.org or by phone to request a prospectus.

2. Complete Forms: The school's coordinating teacher must accurately fill out the School Registration Form (SRF) and the Students' Registration Sheet (SRS), following the provided guidelines.

3. Submit Forms: Send the completed forms to the SOF office by the submission deadline.

Upon receiving the SRF and SRS, SOF will register your school and all participating students. Roll numbers will be generated for every student. We'll then dispatch the question papers and guidelines for conducting the examination.

SOF Registration Fees

Schools in India, Bhutan, and Nepal are required to remit a registration fee of INR 170 per student per Olympiad (inclusive of GST) to the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF). Also, schools may charge up to INR 30 per student to cover honorarium for the in-charge, remuneration for teachers providing guidance, and other related expenses.

Students with major physical disabilities or Indian students whose parent(s) were martyred during defence operations are exempted from the registration fee. For schools outside these countries, the registration fee is US 11perstudentperOlympiad,andanadditionalUS1 per student may be charged for similar expenses.
