• For admission to Pravesh Vatika (PV), the age of the child as of March 31 of the ongoing academic year should be between 4 to 5 years old.

Admission Process

• The merit of the applicants is calculated based on the following criteria:

  • Firstborn

  • Non-sibling

  • Ward of single parent/orphan/adopted child

  • Qualification of parents:

    • Ph.D./Doctorate/DM

    • Postgraduate and graduate

    • Minimum 2-year diploma (after Class 12)

    • Others

• If candidates achieve identical scores, or if the number of candidates with the same points exceeds the remaining vacancies in the general list of 100, a lottery will occur. This lottery will be conducted in the presence of the shortlisted candidates' parents, with a parent or child drawing the lots, and the entire process will be recorded on video.

Documents Required for Admission:

It is important to submit the following documents for admission:

Printout of the registration form with the latest passport-sized photographs of parents and the child.

• Self-attested photocopy of the birth certificate along with the original for verification.

• Photocopy of any one of the following for the proof of residence- electoral card/passport/driving licence/telephone bill/Aadhaar card/rent deed attested by the executive magistrate.

• Copy of the highest educational qualification of the parents. If a 2-year diploma is the highest, attach a copy of the Class 12 passing certificate along with the diploma certificate.

• A printout of Google Maps reflecting the distance between the applicant's residence and Sat Paul Mittal School.

• Copy of staff ID card for the children of the school staff.

• Copy of sibling ID card for any sibling attending Sat Paul Mittal School.

• For ward of central/state/defence personnel, a letter of service from the concerned department and a copy of the government job ID

• For a firstborn child, an affidavit affirming the child as the first-born.

• Copy of the adoption deed for an adopted child.

• Death certificates of parents and proof of guardianship for an orphaned child

• For a single parent:

  • Only the qualification of the custodial parent will be considered.

  • Divorcee: Divorce decree.

  • Separated: Legal separation document.

  • Widow/Widower: Death certificate of the spouse.

• For alumni of Sat Paul Mittal School:

  • Cleared ISC (Class 12) from Sat Paul Mittal School.

  • Studied for a minimum of 4 consecutive years.

  • Documents required:

    • Copy of migration certificate.

    • Copy of transfer certificate issued by Sat Paul Mittal School.
