DAV Centenary Public School, Ukkunagaram

DAV Centenary Public School, Ukkunagaram is a co-educational school inaugurated on August 15, 1985 by Dr. Ahuja, Chairman – cum – Manager Director, Visakhapatnam Steel Project. This school project was an agreement between VSP Management and D.A.V. Managing Committee, New Delhi. 

DAV Centenary School, Ukkunagaram is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE Board) with affiliation no. 130048. English is used as a medium of Instruction in school. Hindi/ Telugu is taught at DAV Centenary school as Second/ Third language. The School academic year begins in April and ends in March the next following year. DAV Education Board (Class 1 to Class 8) recommends textbooks which are prescribed in all its schools. 

The school encourages and supports academic excellence along with co-curricular activities or hobbies such as Art and Craft, Painting, Music, Gardening, Sports and games, Clay Modelling, Athletics, Drama, Public Speaking, Computer courses, Debates etc. for all round development of its students.
